I assume he'd play the wing. I'm not sure Frost projects to be a center in the NHL anyway. Might end up being like a TK where he played center in junior but is a winger in the NHL.
- FreshFlyer

Frost is best at center.

Anyone here seen Barrett Hayton play?I have seen 2 mock drafts that have the flyers taking him 14th?Compared to Jordan Stall.
- flyeredup85

Yeah he plays with Frost. 14th wouldn't surprise me and I would be okay with taking him there depending on who else is around. I am not sure what he will end up looking like. He has a little Strome face. I think he will be a bit better looking than Jordan Staal, though that kind of depends on what you're into. The Staal nose isn't my cup of tea

Wrong. Morin is definitely taking a top 4 position along with Laughton nailing down the 3C. 2019 is the year we realize Holmers vision

totally looks that way now....but as the Giroux move to wing shows, sometimes you just gotta get your best skaters out there however you can. i could see him moving around all top 6 forward spots in his first year or so as a pro.

during that time (and, horrifically, if he doesn't seem to make the transition), i wouldn't be against making a move that brings back another center that could play at 3C but also bring the ability to play 2C minutes in case Coots regresses and/or Patrick blossoms so much offensively.

I was discussing with my buddy this morning if Morin will be an NHL regular by 30.

Who cares. Just because it took him until the age of 23 to craft his skill to the NHL level doesn't make him a bust.

If you rewind the clock and listen to the Flyers when they drafted Morin they clearly stated it would be a long road for him to get to the NHL.

One of the things I do like about him is that he is one of the younger prospects. I am not sure if he has the high end skill set. He is the "200 ft guy"

Well that does fit the type of players Hexy has drafted in recent drafts. The High IQ / 200 ft guys. I know we added Patrick and potentially even Frost as the high end skill set but man I’d love to add one high skill sniper somehow.
