I'm surprised Babs didn't go with Martin and more muscle, but I guess he's decided instead of trying to beat Boston physically, to go the other way and outskate and outskill them.

Well, that and keep Komarov with the top line so Marchand is too busy licking Komarov to play much hockey. Sound strategy. I hear Komarov was voted as the most lickable face by NHL players.

I actually have no idea , I don’t follow Junior aside from keeping tabs on Oilers prospects, but to answer your question I would add a forward.
What I think will happen is we will trade the pick . GM and POHO PC probably is thinking he has 1 season to prolong his term in Edmonton and will desperately try to improve the team in the long term.
Unless he can turn Klefbom (+) into OEL he’s gonna sell the pick for a right handed D.

He’s so dumb tho because we will need those expansion draft exempt ELC’s in a couple years....then again he won’t be here to worry about it so.....

Instead of trading the pick for a right handed d-man, if that is the plan, then drafting Bouchard is even more the choice Edmonton should do. He's a big, highly skilled, right handed d-man who could be helping the Oilers very soon.

Putting in Martin solves nothing. Just makes the lineup weaker and probably gives the Bruins another unneeded pp. adding Martin to the 4th line doesn't makes 3 other lines he's not on suddenly bigger. Beat them playing your game, speed and skill. They were doing a good job of it after the first 5 mins until it unravelled.

Stop playing guys 2 full mins on the pk also. So dumb
