Posted this on my blog but I think it's reasonable to talk about the Chia/Bob pressers. It's the GM and President's idea of how to run the team going forward and their "plan" is worrisome.

Having said that I get many of you don't always want the doom and gloom and if you guys have any ideas (real ones no wrestling blogs from me ) I would be happy to offer some different ideas!

It is reasonable. And yes, it is also worrisome the faith shown in Chiarelli by upper management. On that the vast majority of us here all agree.
That being said, it is also nothing new. If the past posts on this board are anything to go by, then no one was actually surprised by the pressers. It has been predicted and debated by us all, ad nauseam. And I for one, am tired of beating that particular dead horse.

Meh. There isn't much else to discuss at this point. And after that bunch of pressers there is a lot to critique about them.

You could talk about how Chia is going to get bent over on Darnell's tcontract. Or about how he is going to trade the first this year for an over rated stay at home dman that we will lose in expansion. Or how Klef will be trade for some flop...

A breakdown of the top prospects available in this years draft, that most fit our organizational needs (RW and RH D in particular).

A discussion on whether or not to bring back Ryan Strome, and how much should the Oilers spend if they choose to do so.

A breakdown of Lucic's struggles, and whether or not he's likely to rebound. Are there similar examples around the league perhaps?

An Iggy Roast, with special guests Richard Cloutier and Dozzer.
