I totally thought he was joking. I mean, however people want to slice it, they have missed the playoffs 11 of the last 12 years. Not judging, just saying that if someone "craps all over a team," that kind of statistic opens the door for it

I think there is stuff they can do to fix some of it, but yeah. It's gonna take a strong offseason to inject more speed that produces. Fair to question if the right guy is in charge of it

But seriously Hendo, I think PC sucks too, but your act is getting stale. The constant pissing and moaning....like, who actually does look forward to your blogs anymore? You don’t even mix some humour in...ever! You’re so far gone in your deep rooted hatred that even if PC did something good you would search for the poop stained lining and report on that.

It’s fair to question it, Hendo is just bitter now, and constant negativity is not something I seek out.after 4 years It’s Old, boring and stale.

I posted this a few days ago elsewhere, but it applies here better, sadly:

Not that I was ever impressed with his public persona or track record as an NHL GM, but Peter Chiarelli really looked and sounded like a hockey-virgin put in front of a microphone with a gun to his back during the Oilers presser. Kind of like someone was given a crash course on the game and terminology, and then told to speak to it believably or face consequences.

It was both funny and sad. You expect to see the normal coach/gm/player cliches and double-speak, but Chiarelli's display was just a disjointed, stuttering mess. With his track record and a display like this, I'm not sure how any business person could keep him employed and expect to have both success and profit.

As a side note, PC is a lawyer by trade and lawyers are largely negotiators; I could not imagine that man negotiating anything beneficial. There might be good thoughts inside, but once they reach his mouth or whatever part of his brain that controls it, it's garbage.

It's good to know the Oilers are in good hands.

Can not believe he will be back next season. Unbelievable.

Matt. Your writing style is amazing. I've disagreed with little points in the past. You are on point. You writing is top notch. You should replace that incompetent hack at sportsnet Mark Spector. Truth and honesty is refreshing. Your analogies are hilarious. It is very sad to think of a Taylor Hall being traded. It's like trading Sidney Crosby for Erik Gudbranson. That could be the worst trade Hall for Larson in NHL history if Hall wins the Hart.

Not funny, this guy is hilarious. I can stop laughing. You are a bitter partisan swirling down the toilet. Just accept the truth, Matt on point are you gonna drink the coolaid and be ignorantly bliss about this. Matt has great writing skill your critisism is unfair if you disagree with his writing so be it. This is 10 times better material then Mark Spector. Actually funny! Oilers need accountability from here fans this is healthy and good.

First blog I've actually read in about 6 months. Last one I will read by Hendo. poops all over Larsson for no reason other than what he has heard from a few nay sayers who even admit he has his spot. Doesn't offer any other opinions other than poopting on the current situation, while I'm fairly certain he had a positive outlook 1 year ago. Was one of the window lickers who thought the sky was the limit this year regardless what they did ( just to pump my own tires ala a couple others I called for a regression this year while majority where calling for positive growth, didn't see this much tho). Doesn't offer an opinion on positive changes. Doesn't offer an opinion other than poopting on the current situation. Let's for once Matt see your opinion on how to fix 1 single part of the problem. 1 opinion on what makes a positive impact. I (frank)ing hate Russell as much as or more than you. But not once has anyone seen you suggest an idea on how to fix it. Suggest a trade he may accept that benefits the Oilers. A way to remove some salary so some can be moved in to fix issues. Stop your every blog bïtching and come up with 1, ONE solution to one of these problems you so blatantly see from the score cards.
