Wilson’s hit on Wenneberg under review now. We could very well have three suspensions just from Game 1. NHL at least attempting to send a message and set a benchmark.

I watched about half the game. Orlov was terrible. Orpik was pretty solid, but I think he stood out because of a few well-timed hits.

I think he’s was a little worse than Doughty’s hit, so yeah, I could see one to two games.

I'm wondering more on the Kadri hit... 2 games would be a massive statement, by the player safety's "math" 2 post season games is 20-25 regular season games.

Yeah, I’m sure that’s how they likely convert their sentence. Personally I think he should he done for three games if not the entire first round.

Really? I missed that...he's a MORON! I lost any respect I had for him 2 years ago during his whine-filled press conferences begging the refs to call more penalties against the Pens because his team was being entirely outclassed on the ice...worst part was that it worked.

I mean, they're about the same size, I guess? Can't think of much else that's similar between the two.

If Wilson isn't suspended then I don't see why Kadri would be. For the record I think they both should get a game.

I also think Marchand should be getting a major suspension for the kissing/licking thing. If not, whoever he does that to next should be able to just drop their gloves and pummel him into the ice with no penalty. There is no place in hockey for poop like that.

I entirely agree with you on the Marchand thing...how his has complete inpunity to do things like that?! Yet if there is any retaliation, only the retaliation is penalized, which is an absolute farce! He deserved to have gotten completely rag-dolled after that crap!

He deserved to get rag-dolled for sure. Funny thing is that team doesn't have anyone with a spine. Marchand would love to throw em, but is proving that they are just gonna bend over and take it. I was more sickened with the leafs weak response then Marchands antics (did any camera angle actually catch a "like or kiss"?, kinda looked uncomfortably close and nothing more to me).
