There's no elbow.. there's contact with Marner's head, as I mentioned in the other post... but Wingel's elbow is tucked the entire time. There was no elbow thrown to Marner's head... it's just Toronto fan's trying to excuse Kadri's behavior. |

Marner got hit in the head, because his head was lowered. Same thing happened to McAvoy earlier in the season: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1yfXjKXTVc
There was no elbow to the head like Toronto fans keep whining about. Wingel's elbow was tucked the entire time. #1 His shoulder/upper arm made contact with Marner's face... #2 there was no elbow or intent involved. Simply a matter of circumstance of Marner's head being lowered...
I don't have a problem with a Toronto player wanting to lay a hit on Boston after that... but LAUNCHING into a prone player's head who is inches from the boards is a total scum bag move, and he should sit for a couple of games. - mixturebill
#1 Last I checked, the face was on the head.
#2 His head was lowered by Chara who was already hitting him. He should have been able to see that Marner was in a compromised position and not hit him. These guys can turn on a dime so I hear. /s

No one is excusing Kadri's behaviour.
Before you reply to me, I know there's that one guy that is. |

He had seconds to commit to the hit, so it was definitely charging and definitely careless. He didn't have seconds to react to Wengels going down on his knees though. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve a suspension. If someone gets hurt while you're being careless there's consequences. I just think this "intent to injur" narrative is mostly typical Kadri hate. He tried to deliver a "(frank) you" hit and it turned bad so he'll sit for a game or two. - Jeffmt
your image is appropriate, you did suffer many blows to the head right ? |

Just curious... where do guys think an elbow is located? Is it in the middle of his upper arm?
His elbow is below the stripes on the arm of his jersey. Wingel's upper arm makes contact with Marner's head... not his elbow. He didn't throw an elbow to Marner's head. |

Except that the arm kept moving resulting in what is typically referred to in ice hockey
as
elbowing.
But if you don't want to call it elbowing fine. I propose instead from now on we should refer to it by it's proper name. "Illegal check to the head". |

Check out the McAvoy check, which is ten times worse, and not deemed an illegal check to the head. Now you guys are just grasping at straws. |

You want to talk about derp... Those are some THICK ass blue tinted glasses.
THERE IS NO ELBOW TO THE HEAD OF MARNER. It doesn't matter how many times you say it to try and make it true to justify Kadri's hit... it isn't true.
Marchand licked a guy... Kadri boarded the same guy TWICE. Two out of those three events were dirty plays, and they both came from Kadri. Take Marchand's name out yo mouf. - mixturebill
So I can admit that Kadri's hit was dirty, suspendable, and intentional yet you can't admit that an obvious elbow that was intentional actually was an elbow and I need to take the glasses off?
I didn't justify Kadri's hit at all, nor am I using the elbow to justify it. I'm simply saying the elbow occurred and was intentional AS WELL.
Well, licking a guy in an NHL game is a douchebag move made by a player with a history of being a douchebag........although you can't see it.
But yeah, I'll take off my glasses.

Seeing the DD hit for the first time. I was expecting worse. One game suspension is enough.
IMO Kadri's hit was worse. Should also get one game, but I'm thinking he'll get two. |

Correct answer is Marchand’s tongue hitting Komarov’s face. By far the worst.
But yeah Kadri is a dirty scum too and should get a game. - Iggysbff
