I'm wondering on Geno's goal the Flyers players close to him were;

1. Star struck
2. Giving him room to get Geno Machino into gear
3. Polarised by his play & just couldn't move
4. Giving no (frank)s

Title of the year

Hard for me not to wonder how the game would of looked if Murray didnt make that save to keep it 1-0. Also, the first half of the 2nd period was sloppy garbage...but obviously overall I cant really complain haha

Like I said in the last blog though, what happened in that game doesn't mean anything in the next. Flyers will do whatever they can not to go down 2-0 and being embarrassed like that will fuel them even more.

I'm wondering on Geno's goal the Flyers players close to him were;

It's Always Sunny might be in the top five, if not top three funniest comedy shows in the history of the world.

Oh yeah, the Pens won.

My biggest fear with this team is them thinking they have something won then not showing up properly. The main thing that impressed me last night is they didn't let their foot off the gas even after the 7th goal.

If the Pens can keep that mentality going and not trot into Game 2 thinking "they got this," then this could be a much quicker series than people think.

Aren't the Pens practically undefeated when both Sid and Geno score in the same game? I'm pretty sure the stats are overwhelming in the win column when that happens.

What's scary is the Pens 1st PP unit looked like garbage last night. If they can start clicking like they were in the regular season, this series will be over quickly. The PK was a thing of beauty last night. Not giving up a shot on 4 PP opportunities is impressive.

The Flyers will respond, no doubt. But the Flyers aren't going to put the clamps on the Penguins defensively, they need to play run and shoot games ala 2012, and the Penguins are just too deep to do that against right now.

The Penguins got to go anywhere they wanted on the ice last night with zero impediment. Not sure if that will change.
