Devils are going to upset the Bolts. Sorry Vin
- mdw7413

I think they might honestly. They’ve played the bolts well this year, and I actually went to a Lightning Devils game in tampa earlier this season and was impressed by the Devils.

He adds an entertainment factor that is unrivaled. I don't know how anyone can even be offended by his posts, I've never read them seriously or for anything other than a good laugh and take everything he and everyone else writes with a grain of salt. If anything anyone writes on here is offensive, just don't read it, sooner or later everything regresses back to hockey talk when the audience doesn't take the bait.

See here's the thing. I can take someone spitting vitriol and calling me names all day. But, I refuse to sit by and let it happen to others when I feel it is uncalled for. And his attitude and comments toward Jan, not to mention others, is completely out of line.
Don't want to learn the lesson from a ban? Then guess what, your comments will continue to be flagged.
By no means have I flagged his comments out of hand, but he returned rather quickly to old habits, so yeah, I flagged him.
Like Jan said, I don't have the power to ban. I just brought it to the attention of those who make the decision.
We're all fans of the same team here and want to see them do well (well, except for Chiefs, and he is likely to off himself anyday now). So, why can't we act in a civil manner? Or, at least somewhat close to it.

So do I. Devils D isn't nearly as good as Tampas, but they seem to play extremely well against the Bolts. As long as the forward group of the Devils is helping out the D I think the Devils got this one

In regards here to one 1st Round series, the Devils made the postseason by 1 point over the Panthers with their season ending (10-3-1) record, as opposed to some winning trouble the Panthers had during that time stretch, despite the Panthers still owning the first ROW wins tiebreaker in the end.
The killer for the Panthers down the stretch were three bad losses costing them 5 of 6 possible points against both Ottawa and Edmonton during an extended home stand, plus a very late season road OT loss to Ottawa. In between, they had routed them 7-2 at Ottawa following their loss to Edmonton. However, they also won 2 of 3 games against Boston, with Game #82 for both teams resulting in Boston from finishing first in the Atlantic Div. and Eastern Conf. by 1 point to Tampa Bay.
Meanwhile, the Devils rode their backup predominantly in Kinkaid from January until their final game after having just clinched their playoff spot. Their supposed #1 goalie in Schneider extended his winless streak in net since winning last on Dec. 27th. So they will have to rely on Kinkaid's magic to surpass his recent top playing if he is indeed their playoff starter, despite the Devils winning all 3 regular season games over Tampa.
But games results wise why they earned a postseason spot, (other than in chief, Kinkaid and Hall leading the way), are also both their great (9-2-0) start and that (10-3-1) ending, in earning 39 of 48 combined possible points. However, in their other 57 games in between, they played to only a (25-24-8) record, for a .439 winning %, and just 58 of 114 possible points. That also included winless streaks of 3 games 1 time, 4 games 3 times, and 6 games 1 time. So whichever Devils extended stretch team that shows up in the postseason, will determine their series result against Tampa.

Hey, you are the closet Devils fan..
- mdw7413

I had been saying that as far back this past season when Tomburton first said on this site that the Rangers should "tank it".
I felt from his very first of what seemed like, thousands of "tanking" comments, plus the nature, and when he posted some of his other comments, that Tom sounded as if he could be a Devils fan. He likely wanted the Rangers to tank it from way back then, so there would be one less Eastern Conf. team for his Devils to worry about in order to earn a Wild Card spot.

Lightning knock off Devils in round 1, increasing the value of the Grabner 2nd rounder and go on to win the cup, making the pick we got in the McD deal a first rounder

Rangers Win (Something for once)

- MiloslavHorava

So you have to chant, "Let's Go Rangers" during this series, and hopefully three more of Tampa's resulting in a Cup win, for the "REAL" Rangers' benefit.

Or, he honestly looked at the team through an unbiased lens and felt, in his opinion, they weren't going to win the cup, were going to be a mediocre team and this was a good draft year.

Or, simply... "Root for Tampa to win"

Lol everything you write is the longer drawn out version of a very simple statement, fact or idea. I love it.

Are you getting paid by the word (be honest!) ??

TPC was the one who asked if the Rangers would be charged with tampering on that matter. You should have made that reply to that question of HIS, and not me.

No way was that the case, because some members, including Jimbro couldn't take his repeated daily "tanking" comments, and disappeared from posting here during this past Fall.
