I'm going to go out on a limb and say Ken Hitchcock doesn't discriminate when it comes to food... good steak, bad steak, dog food... fire it all in!

Larry Brooks throws the name of Scott Stevens into the coaching ring for the Rangers

I'd be fine with it, although I have my doubts he'd be the choice

I am sure he'll be interviewed

The Tampa game was a weird , NJ dominated for large periods of time . I think TB wins but think NJ pushes them hard

He's not even coaching yet?

No way he will coach NYR . Gorton has said multiple time that next coach must have experience.

it's amazing that the Lightning are playing so much like the Rangers, winning despite being outplayed in a lot of their games, been like that for them since the deadline

but Tyler Johnson and Killorn, as usual, such great players in the playoffs as always

he does have experience though, several years as an assistant and did a stint as head coach with Devils.

I think you can argue he's a good choice for a team that has struggled defensively and was easy to play against for at least two years

I'm w/ ya. Hopefully, not too many teams fire their coaches, b/c he will be sought after It's pretty amazing that the Rangers are the only team to have fired there coach

Hard pass on him. He still thinks you can win by playing late 90's style hockey.

I'm definitely more on board with somebody young and innovative and I am way more receptive towards Corsi and advanced stats and hiring someone with that kind of backround than I have ever been

that is the direction I am advocating going
