Mr Burton,my timing is great ,just got to peek in,I D K why
i have broadened our center needs to others who might be available ...
I can see a sign & trade for Tavares ,but i need sum shrooms to see it
that Gorts end of season interview ,A V hung out to dry
team held it Payroll $$ all season
lost Oscar instead of Holden
Put DD & Hanz & franz up for 3rd & 4th line centers
sounds like Gorts should have been fire d for sabotaging the yr before it started
very query as to what this guy might do AND like trump and his wall (HIS LEGACY WALL)
Gorts want his full imprint on this squad ... get Karllson and i will rest sum - Dundee13
the Rangers had to protect 3 defensemen in the expansion draft, they protected McDonagh, Staal because they had to, and Holden because they had no one else to.
They didn't have to protect Skjei, they hadn't signed Shatty or Smith yet
They turned that little protection of Holden into a 3rd round pick and Rob O'Gara
don't change history Dundee

so after Tampa disposes of Jersey in 4 games we will get the 47th overall pick for Grabner.
Not too shabby |

ooops, my bad, 48 is correct
Devils had a great resurgent season and lots to look forward to in the future, the Grabner trade seems unnecessary to me. I really don't understand why they did it. This is not their time yet.
Rykov could really end up being a player as well |

I think Shero wanted to sign Grabner originally and I think they will try to resign him because he brings them speed and another professional for that young team. |

yeah, if they re-sign him, then it makes sense
really Grabner should sign with the next team that hires Vigneault
he has turned back into the guy who played with the Leafs and Islanders in his later years |

If team results are his gauge, he won't be coming to NY. |

who knows what to believe, it's also possible that he is saying this so there is no tampering charge against the Rangers for talking to him too early |

so much talk about the Kadri hit last night, but the Tom Wilson hit on Wennberg, my god, so dirty, he's gotta get the rest of series for that
the only thing on Wilson's mind was Wennberg's head |

I didn't see the Wilson hit, but the Kadri hit was just a punk ass move just minutes after his previous hit on Wingles. He deserves a suspension.

Personally, I would rather have Nash back anyway. I know that Kovy can score, but I just think that Nash is a true pro that I want young kids learning from. He plays a complete game. He's always busting his ass on the back check. And if he is not paid as if he's a top notch offensive performer, which he won't be, I just like the idea of him coming back.
Not sure if its even a possibility. And maybe the club just wants to move on from the guys that have been here.

I never said this before, but I have been watching Evander Kane in San Jose since he got there, and I am ready to make an offer July 1st |

I feel the same, but I think Gorts is looking for a clean slate next year. I'd be surprised if they brought Nash back. |

Yea Gorton wants his own stamp on this team. I think its a big reason for all the moves, the rebuild and the changing of the coaching staff. If the Rangers come back as a powerhouse he is going to look like the king |

Agreed.
And from what I've read over the years, guys LOVE playing in San Jose. Compared to where Kane has played in his career previously it's got to seem like absolute paradise. |

seems like Buffalo is absolute torture to play in
the recent comments by Ryan O'Reilly and Ristolainen, seems like anybody just wants to get the hell out of there |
