I thought overall also Shmaltz was pretty decent, for his age and cap especially. But even Kane gave up now on this team and the coach, and he was usually trying hard in past seasons even when the rest of the team did not give a damn.

agree on smaltz...at times kane was the most frustrated i have ever seen him...with some finishers on this team he woud have another 10-12 assists

With some finishers, he would have another 10-12 WINS.

Well - and some defenders and goalies and speed and size and....

Now that Panarin is gone and not replaced other teams have been able to focus on and game plan for Kane alone. Of course he's frustrated. Soon it might be ABD's turn and he won't be able to hold up as well as Kane. Fire Bowman now.

The female dogging about bowman is getting real old. And you know he is not going anywhere so why do you persist?

Bowman has done way more than his fair share of damage. He needs to go. Mgt can change it's mind.

Worse than watching the product he put on the ice this year? Would love to see a move like getting Hossa 2009 Summer except on D with Carlson or Karlsson

Hawks are locked at #7 in the lottery bc they have less wins than EDM, right?

The Kane EXCUSES are a joke

10.5 gets you 75 points despite playing the MOST PP minutes in the League this year
-21
00000 Defense
Cherry Picking galore
No PK
No Face off wins
0 hits
Extended shifts habging out at Center ice

Let him play with Panik & Saad like 19 has been stuck with for 3 years now

TRADE

Only good thing Bowman did was get a 3rd for Kempny
And a 1st for Fartman 3g 3a & -4 in 21 games with NASH
4th liner at best

Seabiscut is a PYLON now RETIRE or Trade with 88

I don’t think so.

Both have 76 points with Oil still playing but Chicago has 32 ROW to Edmonton’s 31 - so if the Oil lose, the Hawks would finish ahead of them.

I think.

Oil need a point (it’s 2-2 now at the end of the 2nd) for the Hawks to get 7th pick.

ADB was definitely the first star of the season - led the team in goals! Tied for second in total points. Well done for the kid. I can't wait to see what he does for an encore!

Schmaltz, yeah. I still have hope for Forsling. Curious about Sikura and Hayden and the first round picks and some of the other prospects.

Kane? Well, at least he didn't get hurt.

Now they have some extra time for everyone to recover from the season & any injuries they've been dealing with, let it go, get back to work, and start next season strong & focused. Hopefully Stan can add some pieces in the meantime.

The Hawks are 7th worst, the could draft 1st (which they will) , 2nd, 3rd, or 7 to 10.

Hawks are now locked in at #7 with Evan Bouchard looking like the most probable pick.

Bouchard or Dobson.
I wince over Hughes. But do not want a real lightweight size dman. We will have one of those when Mitchell replaces Keith

To me load up on top 9 offensive create a lot offensive pressure and make the other defend. Blowman will screw thing up again already did by resigning gus and rutta his big transaction will be a veteran back up goalie. Wahlstrom Tkachuck Dobson boqvist anyone of those four would be nice picks. It will be another season like this one next year counting on the core to bounce back because why plus they will be a year older.
Wirtz and Mc Ego miss an opportunity to turn this team around by firing bowman and didn't so this where we sit.

Seabrook might be a tad better if he comes into camp in good shape. He has an.entire off season not punctuated by playoffs this spring. The additional time off is helpful as he can come to camp refreshed and rested better than ever. Don't know if any injury or detetiorating muscles will recover; nonetheless, he is under contract and we are likely stuck with an albatross contract.

To the end all decision on Seabrook = It doesn't make sense to be held hostage or pay a ridiculous bounty to rid ourselves of Seabrook. We can employ him as a servicable and helpful veteran. I would rather have Seabrook with one of our younger dmen than a pair of two non physical young defenemen.

You are so wrong to trade Kane. We have plenty of good young players and early draft choices this year and next. You need to build around Kane. You could even exchange one or more of our promising, young nhl players for the same quality of young players, but whom play a different style.. That is possible although not an easy feat to accomplish.

If you persist in trading Kane, you are going to be met with harsh criticism. You are lacking common sense if you want to trade him. He is your superstar in his prime years of production. He is a differance maker. His presence inspires confidance and hiscdeparture lowers morale no matter the return in trade.

Seriously- while I love Panarin as a player - I mean come on, teams were keying on the Panarin/Kane line - and considering that is where all of the scoring was coming from - all that ever had to be done was contain that single line (not even shut it down), and opposing teams had a decent chance of winning -especially in the playoffs where there were no 3 point games with the gimmicky 3 on 3/shootouts ... once you find yourself in a sudden death, next goal wins situation with a team (and a playoff team - naturally the only type you find in the ... well, the playoffs...) - it meant -short stay and an early start to golf season ... not as early as this year- but still ...

I dunno- I still think the problem is the people evaluating hockey personnel are marketers and not hockey personnel - it is really a recipe for a lot of nothing happening -in terms of actual meaningful hockey action.

Wrong!!!

Trade him while he still has value
And Seabrook is a must go in the trade
51st in PP points
37 in PPG for 10.5 who is a ONE WAY CHERRY PICKER
-20
Talk about a HORRID year

Does not matter if Seabrook is in best shape of his life he is to SLOW to play in NHL PERIOD

Stone hands Saad AHL Murphy AA & ForSTINK all must go

Trade 19 if any team will take that chance

Draft all D with picks & sign a real durable back-up

Non of this will happen because Bowman has 0000 CLUE
