You are also forgetting he essentially traded another top scorer Matt Barzal plus for Griffin Reinhart...

He'll win the Lindsay/Pearson, which is more important to me, because it's voted on by the members of the NHLPA as opposed to "hockey people" with agendas. Also that is given to the "most outstanding" player. To me, that award has a lot more meaning.

Yeah, that one was brutal as well. As a Rangers fan, not very happy with him for substantially improving both the Devils and Islanders.

We are going to create a new award to help out the players that are getting screwed over by the 200 hockey men club. It is going to be the Peter Chiarelli Trophy. It is going to go to the most outstanding player from the group of teams that don't make the playoffs.

In the spirit of things, there's the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award which goes to a guy coming off the bench. The NHL should create a similar award for people who aren't on the top two lines, so that way Phat Phil can win it.

Dumbest thing ever to trade away Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle. No way. This can't be allowed.

I do believe Milan Lucic is a good player but not for his price tag. A couple millions too much.

Remember when we owned the pick that became Matt Barzal?

I'm only being facetious. It was the correct trade at the time and factored into creating HBK. Can't be mad regardless of how much better Barzal is than Perron and/or Hagelin.

You'd think this would be cause for a firing. I have no idea if this is true or not but I suspect that the handling of Seguin might of aided in his Bruins fate.

Yeah and if you traded that pick to another team, they may never of picked Barzal. 15 other teams teams skipped over him as well.

So McDavid hated edmonton so much that he decided to sign a long term contract with no movement just to spite us. Well done Mcdavid

Mcdavid should not even be in the top 5 canidates. This guy has put together his Hart trophy campaign when his team was down and out, playing stress free meaningless hockey. PPG start of season to Feb 1st 1.10, PPG Feb 2nd until now 1.57

mcdavid is a loser, all that talent and he floats around waiting for opportunities to arise, pounce and use his speed to get himself into the highlight reels

try playing a team game for a change jerkbag

Being the points leader on a team with a mediocre to bad supporting cast really doesn't lend itself to your argument of him "floating around".

Tends to happen when you always leave guys wide open in prime scoring areas.
