Rrportedly the front office was miffed over Panarin's attitude. Bowmwn choose to acquire a much needed goaltender prospect whom remains a descent young talent. There were not a lot of other options to acquire w similar or better goaltender. Meanwhile Saad is supposed to bring a different style to his line which is part and parcel to Bowman's plan for the team to be harder to play against. I feel this remains Bowman's intention. Loosing a superior offensive talent is your point, yet this was a sensible trade given the circumstances. The majority of fans probably know this but it is spelled out again for those with tunnell vision to absorb.

The blues lost their identity when Ken Hitchcock left, and they traded their physicality, they were maybe a goalie away had they left it alone. The old adage if it’s not broke don’t fix it. And as far as the BLACKHAWKS be careful what you wish for when it comes to replacing the coach.

The Blues have injuries I know, but even when healthy I don't think their D core doesn't look as good as it was.

Yep, they are toast. They'll be on the same golf course as the Hawks come next week.

As much as I wanted the Hawks to loose out so they better their draft position. Blue's controlled their own playoff destiny tonight, and the Blackhawk's just played spoiler 😏 . It never gets old beating that team when it matters most for them...time, after time, after time hahaha!
