Rrportedly the front office was miffed over Panarin's attitude. Bowmwn choose to acquire a much needed goaltender prospect whom remains a descent young talent. There were not a lot of other options to acquire w similar or better goaltender. Meanwhile Saad is supposed to bring a different style to his line which is part and parcel to Bowman's plan for the team to be harder to play against. I feel this remains Bowman's intention. Loosing a superior offensive talent is your point, yet this was a sensible trade given the circumstances. The majority of fans probably know this but it is spelled out again for those with tunnell vision to absorb.

I would say he hasn't stood out greatly but he seems to a guy Q likes, safe plays with the puck. I think he has a shot block or two. Much better than #5 tonight.

in all honesty I Ok with letting everyone go including MCD. I thought murp would look faster with more consistent playing time but he has not bottom pairing guy. Got allot of those. had to get more for both hammer and pan. We are not close at all.
