Any other gm would've gotten at least high first and and another pick for Calder winning, more than 70 points in both of his first two years in the league Super Russian Panarin. Bowman got overrated under-performing Saad and Columbus's third string goalie. Fire him now before he does any more major damage. I guess some guys would rather worry about what one or two prospects might possibly make the bottom six two years down the road or finally realize how most Blackhawk prospects will never make the big club than want to keep a sure thing superstar who single handed boosted Kane to an over 100 point season and scoring championship. - Savoy
Rrportedly the front office was miffed over Panarin's attitude. Bowmwn choose to acquire a much needed goaltender prospect whom remains a descent young talent. There were not a lot of other options to acquire w similar or better goaltender. Meanwhile Saad is supposed to bring a different style to his line which is part and parcel to Bowman's plan for the team to be harder to play against. I feel this remains Bowman's intention. Loosing a superior offensive talent is your point, yet this was a sensible trade given the circumstances. The majority of fans probably know this but it is spelled out again for those with tunnell vision to absorb. |

And what if Saad returns to his 25 g 55 pt pace of the three years before this year - and is a force at the other end of the ice?
As I think he will.... - StLBravesFan

I would say he hasn't stood out greatly but he seems to a guy Q likes, safe plays with the puck. I think he has a shot block or two. Much better than #5 tonight. |

Encouraging
Not happy: Tuulola still not played AHL game
2-2 after period one. Highmore has a goal; he serms to be able to score in the AHL. Snuggerud - Raydash pair starting lineup opening face off and Fortin too |

Kane biggest liability on defense in the NHL
Compltete 1 WAY player
Trade him while he has a little value
LITTLE the key word - Goalie-33

in all honesty I Ok with letting everyone go including MCD. I thought murp would look faster with more consistent playing time but he has not bottom pairing guy. Got allot of those. had to get more for both hammer and pan. We are not close at all. |

WTF is Pierre talking about? Did you not see that Ruuta was hooked twice as he was stickhandling to the Blues blueline? That is why he couldn't dump it in! Watch the F'n play homo and quit sucking Eddie O's you know what. You have no business being on TV. |

Hillman scored shorthanded. Schmaltz got a loose puck and waits for the trailing Hillman who fires one high and in. |

I saw a blues guy going on his ass as Berube froze the puck. And I'm thinking finally someone blasted a guy in the slot. But I see the replay and the guy triped over Berube. That poop has to stop. |

so funny: scrum at the hawks net so Murphy went to push a St. Louis player away and the Blues player didnt budge, Muphy just went straight back and almost fell into his own net. Hilarious and embarrassing at the same time |

Totally agree. Murph is a weakling too.
Hawks getting beat up all over the ice tonight. 3 two on ones and 2 complete breakaways in the 2nd period. So bad defensively it's alarming.
