First order of business FIRE THE BOWMANS!

1. Trade Kane & Seabrook (package deal)
2. Trade Stone Hands Saad
3. Trade AHL Murphy
4. Trade AA
5. Dump every Goalie Bowman has picked up or drafted that is not named Crawford
6. Trade Duclair
7. Draft all D-men
8. Draft all D-men
9. Draft all D-men
10. Acquire a back-up Goalie

Carry on.......

Yes that would be fine .It's just all the experts writhing off young players in these meaningless games that kills me ..

Edjsell is slow and weak. Needs to be quicker and stronger to be a good NHLer

See what a summer in Chicago with a skating coach and strength training regimen can do.

He has good hands and puck control. But without the puck on his stick he can't keep up right now.

It kills me that there is allegedly some philosophy with our rebuild centered around becoming a team with elite speed once again.....and then they throw this Edjsell kid out there who looks like the slowest skater I've ever seen in my entire life.

I'm sorry but this guy has zero business being on this roster if that's our plan. And that should be our plan. And with guys like Duclair, Hinostroza, Schmaltz, and even DeBrincat and Sikura to an extent....you can see the pieces start to add up. So lets stick with it and not anchor down another line with another Anisimov-like center.

I have noticed he does not stop and skate...he kinda glides with wide turns like a plane...that won't work in this league...but hey the hawks saw something in this guy maybe as others have suggested coaching, training and a full preseason will bring it out..

The bigger prize was that 1st round pick we got for Hartman. If Ejdsell doesnt pan out no biggee. Need to package those two 1st rounders and try to move up. This team has a lot to figure out starting April 8th.

The guys is 6-5 and a late bloomer and has played 3 games on small ice. I thought he did look faster and stronger the 1st game. I think both his feel and confidence are for sure going to get better. Give him a year or 2 and then see if you think his skating is NHL Avg. Also when you are 6-5 the long reach does help. He is also going to get a lot stronger is my guess (I did not think Euro's did a lot of strength training) unless he starts being a vegan and doing Yoga all day with Teows.

Poll question, which would you prefer beat the Blues twice knocking them out of the playoffs and sliding back a draft spot or two.

Or

Losing to the Blues twice potentially moving up a couple spots and increasing lottery odds.

Even with all deire for tanking, beating the Blues takes priority. Plus I wish MacKinnon would be in playoffs, he deserves it so I cheer for Avs out of other Central teams.

A pick that could conceivably be very low in round 1 is not a big prize for a decent, young winger who is an established 20 goal scorer. Ejdsell has done almost nothing since getting the call. The dude can't keep up.

So wrong.

Tanking is the best option for this team. They need a high draft pick for the next two seasons in a row - as a start. Then someone has to light a fire under our weak, quitter captain’s behind and expect leadership from him.

It is this kind of thinking that leads to franchises like the Bears - unwilling to see the writing on the wall, and in the name of false and fleeting pride, somehow thinking a symbolic victory against a rival truly settles something significant.

Give this kid some playoff time to adjust to the speed over here in the smaller ice surface, plus like someone said, a summer of training with this organization. Book still open on DuClaire , as much is Vinny hustles,he is another Yaremchuk,When it comes to scoring, could not hit a bull in the ass with the 2 x 4, let alone the net. Within a couple years he will be playing on the sharks with Scott Foster. Here’s hoping Stan Bowman treats this draft like Ryan Pace did when they traded up to get the quarterback, he needs to do that to get in position, Hopefully sounding like a broken record to draft Brady Tkachuk, none of those defenseman are NHL ready, that are high-end Dahlin, and with the stock pile Of forwards, maybe you could swing a deal for a young top for defenseman.

A lot of players sniff 20 once - maybe twice - then go on to have “just guy” careers.

Hartman had 19 - ok, call it a 20 goal season - coming back to earth this season for 11+20=31 in 73 games.

Maybe he will become a consistent 20 goal scorer - his points per 60 this season is a pretty good 1.97, goals per 60 at 0.7.

But - hasn’t proven it yet.

Yes Tanking is the best option at this point ,but with the odds as close as they are in 7th or 8th place. I could live with a beat down on the blues that put them outside looking in . The draft is nothing but a crap shoot anyway from the ping pong balls to the picks .. GO HAWKS GO !!!!!!!!!!!

I was very disappointed to lose Hartman ,felt he was a solid player .I blame Q most for his departure . And believe we may be stuck with coach Q up for awhile ,witch should lead to another tankathon watch next year

David Poile said that he didn't give up any real assets for Hartman, and he was right.

Call it a small sample size if you wish, but 3+3”6 in 16 games with Nashville - including a goal in his first and an assist in his second - so not any better stats in Music City.

Don’t think Q is coaching down there.

Only because I don’t trust this guy, he is arrogant, like Mike Smith was, and I see a pattern. But then again that is just my opinion. I’ll stick to my guns Dale build those three Stanley Cup teams, the last three years, to first rounds and out and now this was more of Bowmans work. This is the summer where it’s called crap or get off the pot.

I call that a very small sample indeed .On a stack team were he is a depth player . I hope Stan makes good work of that pick ,as I believe he will ..

Hopefully Edjsell can evolve into a reliable 3rd line scorer. He's simply too slow right now for the NHL pace. If the Hawks get a difference maker with Nashville's pick it makes the trade look much better. If the Hawks get the 7th pick in the lottery does trading the 7th overall + Nashville's pick get you pick 2 or 3?? If so, would you do it?
