I thought Murphy had his best game as a Hawk last night. I'm not sure if the Hawks are playing better, or if teams are not showing up to play hard bc of their spot in the standings. Probably both but the Hawks are all over the Avs. Also, I have really disliked the play of Hinostroza the last 2+ weeks. - EnzoD
I was just going to comment that the Hawks are really having their way in the Avs zone so far. I think it has something to do with some of the pressure being off and maybe some guys starting to adjust to the NHL and get some more confidence. Saad playing better certainly helps too. |

Hillman looks like he already knows how to be a Hawks dman. Avs have the puck and are attacking the net and he hit the deck sprawling to block the pass. It can be effective sometimes, but I have to wonder if I've ever seen another team do it more often. |

Is it just me or have I seen the dmen hitting and being a bit meaner in front of the net in the last three games too? Not bone crushing hits but bodies on guys along the boards to at least make the opposition work a bit harder. |

Could be right about that.
One thing I've felt like has been happening more a bit is some long breakout passes coming from Keith/Seabrook that actually connect and send them on the attack. |

These kids on forward can make a pass tape to tape too which helps. Except Hinostroza. |

Isles and Rags both lost (or are about to) in regulation. Hawks really need a loss. |

Amazing what happens when Q is allowed to coach his team and run his system. |

Edjsell and Anisimov are both too slow for the NHL and Vinny also sucks. |

Oesterle sucks a lot. Seabrook is just too slow. |

Not optimistic about Edjsell.
I do want to see more of Hillman, seems steady. |

First order of business FIRE THE BOWMANS!
1. Trade Kane & Seabrook (package deal)
2. Trade Stone Hands Saad
3. Trade AHL Murphy
4. Trade AA
5. Dump every Goalie Bowman has picked up or drafted that is not named Crawford
6. Trade Duclair
7. Draft all D-men
8. Draft all D-men
9. Draft all D-men
10. Acquire a back-up Goalie
Carry on.......

Too slow and too weak for how big he is. Anisimov is worse though. |
