Bingo is one of the more important contributors to our little group - very knowledgeable about hockey, not just the Canes - and is one of our more popular friends.

Unless you’re nothing but a troll, when you’ve been here for more than your two-month stint so far, you will realize this.

This! I'd take 100 Bingos who primarily root for other teams, than one GP

I've been reading this board since most of you 2008 fans started posting on here. I know who posts what and I'll respond how I please. If you don't like it don't read it or (frank) off. Simple.

This place is going to sh*t, so much so that the petty little arguments by all these damn keyboard warriors are getting in the way of the actual discussion about the game of hockey. Getting pretty tired of insults and trolls.

Witty response. Now tell me what the Hurricanes lineup is and how they are gonna be a condender for years to come. That never gets old.

I will jump in here.

I see a new owner who wants to spend and wants to be involved in the hockey end of the on ice product. This could be a positive but you can also look at Mark Cuban in basketball. Some might get a headache over Cuban but i just give him as an example of an owner who is committed to improving his team no matter the cost.

The Hurricane are close to being a good team. The head coach is fine, knows his hockey. Francis was a strong hockey mind but handicapped by old owners worrisome over dollars situation, ie, they were cheap and it showed.

Carolina has descent depth, some good young players and an envious assembly of young blueliners. They need a leader and more experience gained from their defencemen. They could use an upgrade to a #1 center. I love J Staal as #3 center. TT is strong in his production how he has been employed this season. I feel like Skinner is capable but somehow the throttle is not open all the way for him to produce more. The goaltending has disappointed, Darling has been no darling addition.

This is a team ripe to grow if a new owner makes good moves and has the willingness to spend wisely.

Henrik Sedin has always been a 90% pass 10% shoot type of player, but 2 goals going into tonight.....wow. Nice to see him get #3 on the season and help the TANK!

Lucky they didn’t call a walk on that 2nd in-bounds.

Three wins by a total of 4 points.

I agree with all of this .Carolina is on the right track . Darling has been a real disappointment ,Imagine if Stan had moved Crow and signed Darling to a big deal like some said to do me included .. WOW would he be tar and feathered oh wait he already is ..

Why don't you post your own thoughts to direct the discussion more positively? Those who comment on the Hawks are driving the discussion, those who comment about other posters derail the conversation.

Examples:

Positive contribution: Would you trade Debrincat for Ekblad straight up?

Negative Contribution: you are so annoying _____. All you post is _____. (Insert name calling).

I can do both - multitasking is my middle name.

I think AdB can be (only “can be” at this point) a special player.

But - Ekblad is also young - and more experienced now - and the Hawks could use a top defender so....

I really like AdB’s future.

Duncan Keith is 34 going on 35 and the Hawks season has been over for a while. Why is he playing over 10minutes in the 1st???? Roll the lines Q!
