Agree and agree- I’m in the keep Q fire Stan camp- his record is a disaster

Don Maloney who worked wonders in AZ is available

- Colbyboy

Don't kid yourself, Q has lost what's left of the "core." He needs to go too. When Sweeny took over in Boston and Julien remained, that team still floundered for half a season and took off when Cassidy replaced him. This team (and especially the highly paid guys) doesn't play with consistent effort night in and night out. Rocky needs to clean house.

Edited to add: bring in any new GM and he will want his own guy behind the bench.

I really want to know what the cash in Rocky's pocket (from the Vegas franchise) has done to him this season.

have not won 2 in row in regulation since mid december when they beat these guys 5-1 and the wild 4-1...then everything just went off the rails...

4 game in the last 8 they have coughed up 5 or more...

Thank god we play the Jets two more times. That's two more losses.

'Hawks have 9 games left, and the only teams left that are worse than them are the Canucks and Sabres.

I think a top-5 pick is absolutely within reach.

Don't we have to hold our breath with the lottery? Just slightly better odds if 5th worse record

When ole' pal Bettman gifts the 'Hawks the 1st overall pick to accelerate the rebuild, it'll look better if the 'Hawks had the 5th best odds rather than the 8th/9th best odds

Hawks have scored first in 42 out of 71 games this year - that’s 3rd in the league behind Pittsburgh and Winnipeg.

They’ve only won (now) 23 of those games (18th in the league) - a .548 winning percentage (26th in the league).

Byfuglien is probably the meanest player in the NHL, I really wish he played for the Hawks still. It was great seeing him light up Pronger, and equally great seeing Bickell light up Byfuglien. We need to find a someone with some skill that other teams are scared to play against. I think that would go a long way for this group.

"Since he took over as head coach in 2008, no team has had more wins when scoring first than the Blackhawks (326). Going into this year, they had ranked third with an overall win percentage of .754 in that category across nine seasons."

It is entirely possible for Bowman to sign two from Northeastern - Gaudett too! It is entirely unlikely we trade DeBrincat plus our first to draft Dahlin
But then you could go for the trifecta by the first draft, sign two, then our own late #1.. If the Edsel kid works out that is five new faces with one departing

Now please rrturn to your rrgular way of thinking about Stan's management.

the wailing and lamenting the loss of crawford is

if only craw
they miss craw
craw would save the day...

they were bad with him, not pleased that craw is out or that he is hurt; but really him being out demonstrates how brutal this team and has been all year...

More
Brent Seabrook on the review delay after Saad's goal: "It was nice to get one 11 seconds in. Would have been nice to get going right away and build off that. But at the end of the day, we can’t give up five in the first period."

now there's brilliant insight from the hawks 7 mildo dman and AC...ring that bell

I don't feel bad for season ticket holders. If you have the expendable income for season tickets, then you cant really moan about increases year after year like you're struggling to keep up with payments or something.

If its too much and you don't want to pay it anymore, then F'ing don't and stay home or go to a bar to watch like everyone else.

- BlazinMike

Why can't I moan about the ridiculous price increases of the tickets. I like the game of hockey and had three other friends willing to share the cost of the tkts. However, non of us had that kind money(your expandable income) to continue . Wages have gone up about 4% a year and McD raises his prices 10+% a year. Two years were over 14%. That is why I am F'ing staying home . By the way do you ever moan about something?

Kid is, even with bouncing up and down the lineup and having limited minutes, still the 4th leading scorer on the team.

Shudder to think of what Q might have done to the confidence and learning process of a rookie Kane or Toews and how differently things might have turned out.

The Cat's avg TOI for the entire season before tonight's game was 14:51! Q should be running 4 lines and 3 pairs with only PP + PK interrupting that. The season is over. There are guys on lines 3&4 who are essentially trying out for next year (Jurco & Sharp) or developing young players like Vinny, Kampf, Hayden, and Debrincat who should be getting plenty of TOI to improve.

I still cannot even begin to explain or try to understand the Rutta & Gustafson signings. Gustafson is so bad defensively and both are soft. Better skating Rundblads.

One last thought, fire Stanley Bowman.
