Toews with the nice shot/pass at Q's jock hahah sending a message??
- EnzoD

Every player jumped out of their pants and Q just casually turned. He didn't even flinch.

Such a bada$$ move!

Because their goalie only saves 88% of shots against....which is even worse than Jeff Glass.

Wouldn't that be an ex-hawk Stan made a bad decision on? All of stans decisions are bad, or so I read here countless times

I liked Frolik a lot. Solid pickup 6 years ago.

TT, Nordstrom, Kruger and Darling haven't done much. I think Stanbo got those ones right in my opinion.

Would have liked to have kept TVR around.

Oesterle actually doesn't look bad tonight playing LD

Love the no look pass by the Captain

I know your reading comprehension is poor so I'll explain in layman's terms....Berube very good, Darling very bad.

Giving up 2 goals is very bad? Gotcha

This is the kind of effort that would have gotten the Hawks steam rolled if they were playing a western conference team in the playoff race. Hard to judge much when they aren't trying. Only a few guys who are looking for a contract seem to have much going.

Tuevo' 52 points would be 2nd on the Hawks behind Kane. Tuevo has his flaws(soft as cotton), but he is talented offensively and was yet another high end asset (1st round pick) that Bowman gifted away to shed a questionable contract.

Funny, not many here liked tvorr until he was gone. He was one of tsj's whipping boys and the crowd lapped it up

Good points from TT, but I don't think he would have gotten there if he was here.

I've said it before, but he was doomed from the get go here and that was all thanks to the Hawks front office/hype train. They billed him as the second-coming of Kane--which is extremely unfair to do to a young player if you ask me. Kane is a prodigy, TT has talent, but nothing like Kane. The fans heard he was supposed to be another Kane and when he wasn't, they and the media buried him.

Totally agree that he's soft, but I think he could perform under the Chicago microscope. He's better in a market like CAR, where he can fly a bit under the radar and not have to play a two-way game--instead, focusing on offense only.

I loved TVR. Him and Hammer were the only guys willing to sacrifice and block shots.

He also started developing a knack of knowing when to jump into the play/rush. It wasn't always the best, but I thought he was developing it.

The perceived "character issues" should make him a much more affordable UFA. Look at what Wilson paid to acquire him compared to Rick Nash! The guy is a #1LW on almost every team, including the Hawks. John Moore also plays with the "edge" that most current Hawks lack. Very unlikely Stan pursues him, but Duclair is another guy with "character issues" that Bowman acquired.
- EnzoD

It boils down to a decision about dollars, only dollars, then are you a gambler. Some will play, some will stay far away. I feel like Duclair has to prove it by at least half next season a great attitude and effort. Do you think he will work hard enough, the right way. I would rather have Panic back playing how he did for a while. More on E Kane: pay him and we wil get stuck with the salary cap if he has issues. Nobody will take him then but for a pittance. I would rather just draft well and make a hockey trade. I also want yo watch Carlsson more thannother prospects. He intrigues. I don't have my hooes up for Kyrs. Another third pair typ e with weaknesses, although his skill is potentially very good. Still just a third pair guy

So how is it J Moore allowed to get away? He used to be sort of soft; is he now. How far has he come, how far can his his game go....fotmer Chicago Steel

I've actually thought that for a number of games now.

Wouldn't mind if the Hawks moved Forsberg in the offseason and got a good return for him--that's if Crow is health for next year.

I'd roll Crow and Berube all day.

- Hank3Henshaw

I wouldn't give up on Forsberg yet. Send him down to Rockford next season let him get some more seasoning

Maybe he could have stayed the same player he was for 2 months in the spring of 2013 if not for his serious health issue. However, he was playing with 19+20 a lot of that stretch and had done very little in previous seasons. Did he have to get $4mil x 4 years? Or maybe 1 year at $5mil to prove you can be consistent (which he never was). Just another on the list of Bowman's mismanagement with the salary cap and young assets.

Ok Dr. Enzo. His inconsistency could have been a symptom or he could be like any other power forward that goes in spurts....or a combo of both? Who knows? Oh wait, you do

I know that the Hawks are now a bad team thanks in large part to Stan Bowman's work history.
