The perceived "character issues" should make him a much more affordable UFA. Look at what Wilson paid to acquire him compared to Rick Nash! The guy is a #1LW on almost every team, including the Hawks. John Moore also plays with the "edge" that most current Hawks lack. Very unlikely Stan pursues him, but Duclair is another guy with "character issues" that Bowman acquired.

Hear Hear...all due respect GP...but as Chunk states its good healthy discussion I may not agree with someone else's point of view, but I'm certainly open to healthy debate...and as one of Bowman's toughest critics I don't hate the man. I hate that he's running this team into the ground with his horrid trade record, drafting record and his overpays which have crippled his ability to reshape the roster...
the two latest overpays are just an ongoing problem with the current GM.

BTW for the TVR haters out there...he's got 1g 10 helpers this season. 16min TOI and a plus 7...how badly could the Hawks use that right now?

I've actually thought that for a number of games now.

Wouldn't mind if the Hawks moved Forsberg in the offseason and got a good return for him--that's if Crow is health for next year.
