It's okay for Carter to board/ interfere with Cat but then Cat gets the penalty call.

Its almost funny watching them not only take a step back, but completely fall apart. This should not have been allowed to happen. This is what sets franchises back.

When the penguins had their bumps over the last 4 years, they still kept their edge and made the playoffs.

So sad and so dumb.

Ehhhh, my biggest problem is the odd man breaks they constantly give up, game after game after game. If that's Ulf, if it's Q, if it's Dineen, if it's all 3 then I do agree.

And if they hire Granato take a good look at the US hockey team, but everyone thinks the grass is greener...

Given that of the once-dominant “core”, only Kane can be counted on to play at a high level going forward, and only Schmaltz and AdB of the young players have shown a real championship compete level - I fear there isn’t a quick fix for next year.

We should or some of us maybe saw it coming.

What there is no excuse for though is the continual joke how to operate a power play. I can only assume 1) players are at fault because they do as they please (for most part); 2) not enough of the correct players to operate a power play and poor coaching. Screens, man in front of net, a true qb playing at the blue line, strategizing poor when opposition knows what you are going to try.

So whom is accountable for the pp? Eventually you have to call out both Bowman and Q. They have to make players do as instructed, right?!

And when the defenseman altogether is so bad,Bowman has to have the balls to confront Q and tell him to play Murphy regularly as he had the most experience. Murphy should be at least passable if Q stops messing with him

We know both Bowman and Q should go. I have slight hope that Bowman will draft well and bring in more toughness, more grit. The product on the ice says he must be able to see the need

Is it possible Q will resign in disgust and Bowman gets fired. I will believe it when I see it.

They both screwed up the Hartman situation. But Hartman himself has his own issues and he will have to play a role and do as told. Or his new team will put him on the bench, press box, minors until he accepts his responsibility and role
