hmm, apparently the lesson the team took away from yesterday is the they played pretty well when down by 2 goals so rather than waiting until later in the game to be down by so much, they decided to get there ASAP. So now they should be fine. right?

with in the over all context of penalty calls...it was weak..he touched his hands pulling off the play...yeah i thought it was weak with all the slashes and cross checkes that get a pass...

what the hawks did or didn't do has nothing to do with my assessment that the call was weak...

and of course it had nothing to do with perrys goal it was 4 minutes later...

Apparently for taking a stupid penalty Duclair rewarded by playing the PP.

If Q is consistent -- like he says his players should be -- Anthony Duclair should be stapled to the bench for the rest of this period for that awful, undisciplined penalty that just led to an Anaheim PP goal.

Unusual to see Dietz (a big Q cheerleader) call him out, but not the first time in the past week or so.

Doughty does do everything he can to be as ugly as he can be. It is as if he is doing a sociological experiment that wealth can overcome all negatives.

The problem with penalties is the Hawks take a lot of dumb ones. Simply don’t put your stick anywhere within 2 feet of the hands of a player or his mid-section. Should they be called - NO! Are they being called - YES! Stop doing it.

Maybe he no longer cares. Maybe knows in April he will be cleaning out his office.

I'm watching the Anaheim feed, and these announcers seem to be stunned by how easy it is to hang out in the Chicago crease without getting touched.
