If we scored a 4th or 5th for Cammalleri and any kind of pick for Gryba its a win. - LittleRicky
I'm still hoping Gryba will take Lucic on a hunting trip. |

I wonder if we could get a pick for Fayne? Turn a nothing in to something... |

I'm pretty sure this is the last year of his deal as well... someone searching for depth might have interest |

He's injured and has been most of the year I thought.
Letestu for Aberg seems deec.
The pick for Davy is meh.
Get rid of Cammy for anything.
Maroon will be re-signed
Leafs sure didn't give up much for Plecanec. |

I like the Aberg pick up. Exactly the type of player we needed to add.
I bet chia trades that 3rd at the draft
Maroon is gonna be moved. My feeling is Chia is probably trying for a late first but most likely we will get a second plus possibly a prospect. |

Aberg has potential but he's struggled to make it on the Preds. He isn't much more than. Bottom 6 guy right now.
My bet is they picked him up to try him as a shooter on the pp since he's a rh shot that plays left wing. Same spot Letestu occupied on the pp. |

Good point.
Think McLellan tosses him on McDavids wing immediately ala Maroon? |

Cammalleri has 18 points in 38 games as an Oiler. I'd keep him next season. |

They'll likely try it. Especially if they deal Maroon. I don't think it'll work that well. |

Yes.
In the AHL he had
16
25
31
goals in three seasons. He can score. Play him with McDavid and he's gonna score a tonne.
He's also apparently slick and also fast.
Great trade. |

He’s picking up the apples but I’d still prefer someone younger and faster next year. If someone offers us a half ass decent pick then deal him. |

He sucks. Gets points solely based on time on the ice with McDavid.
An Ahl call up can fill his role. |

Moneys too tight
Gotta resign slep, nurse, benning, strome and even Pakarinen before him. Plus, find the cash to make a move for a true scoring winger. And What do we have as of today for the summer ? 14 mil?
If his wheels weren’t broken, maybe, but yeah, he’s gotta walk |

I think you have to trade Nuge at this point. He's a great player and I like him a lot, but 6 million is just too much regardless of where he plays.
It'd be nice to move Lucic as well. |

Depending on the return, might not have a choice, but if it’s for anything less than a true scorer coming back. hell no. Even then I’m reticent.
And certainly not to save cap to use on unproven players like he did this past season.
Moving lucic’s money would be wonderful. I’ll take anything |

pacioretty or Hoffman for Nuge. I'd hope for Hoffman.
Trade Lucic to Arizona for something. I don't even know. Probably would have to retain 2 million though. |

I really hope chia don’t loose slepy in the off-season. I really like his game, bad start to the season with a ankle injury. One of my favourite players on oilers team.

Yep
He can’t possibly be even considering cutting ties with a player of his ilk and ceiling.
If he was demanded in a bigger trade as an extra piece to seal the deal, fine. But alone at the td for a middling pick or as an rfa? he’s a no brainer keep/resign |

He was offered up earlier this season and there were no takers. We almost dumped him for nothing on waivers. Injuries saved that from happening. |
