Yea a fourth line center. Wonder if that takes them out of it. Peg still looking, but I don't know if AA would even waive to go there. This assumes the Blackhawks are even thinking of trading in this sellers market. |

Would you take a chance on Stewart and see what he can do for the rest of the year?
He is on waivers today -30 yrs old, 9 goals this year, UFA & size up front. An upgrade over Bouma? |

The Jets don't need much other than maybe another goaltender and they aren't willing to give any of their kids away for dirt cheap. AA too slow for how they play. Thought they might sniff around for somebody like Tanner Kero (or wishful thinking Chris DiDomenico). Them and Nashville are the class of the Central and probably the entire West. |

Stewart hasn't been as physical this year but I would take him over jurco. With Hartman and maybe anisimov traded with bouma and wingles moving he would be nice filler to see what he has left. |

Why? So he can take the space of better, younger, faster players? The dude is on the back 9 of his career, hasn't been a really viable player in years. WTF would the Hawks, a team needing a rebuild/retool want with another aging, declining veteran?

I still didn't see it on the replay, and if Hartman did commit the infraction when the Hawks had the puck and a 2 on 1 going the other, which he must of if Q benched him the rest of the game, kid just might be to dumb to play in the NHL. Shaw took some dumb penalties at times but as he got older he became wiser, at what age will Hartman figure this out, will he ever? |

i think it was weak call; hartman gets his stick up around the waist of a defender while chasing the hawk breakout; both players are clearly behind and out of the play...none the less it was a really dumb decision to get his stick up high and the ref made the call...
no reason at all for him to even think about or risk that type of play...thats probably what really miffed Q...

Would AA and a pick be enough to pry Trouba away from the Peg? - z1990z
No. Trouba will not be stolen for tweeting roster at trade deadline. That would be dumb by Jets. Give away ....if done then fire their gm
And....trade AA if descent return because in a league where speed and skating means more to the composition of a roster each year, AA is closing in on this being an issue within maybe one more season. He is young enough and has value as a proven veteran. Due to salary and Chicago is not going anywhere in playoffs any time soon, I say trade AA now before the return is less later on. It is a case of the law of diminishing return
Also you can count on him to miss chunks of each season with injuries |

Those dmen will never amount to anything but average third pair type. Maybe a tad better after a couple + years. Hartman can play at speed, be a pest, and is desirable to complete a roster. He is also somewhat a problem child who needs a coach to give tough love and a GM to enforce it. |

In the past,Bowman would make his trades before the tdl,but this year he is not a buyer but a seller. He will wait for the last minute to drive up the stakes,or he'll do nothing. |

Hmmm thought just crossed my mind, what better way to screw up a Stan trade plan than to staple him to the bench. Maybe Stan wanted to trade Hartman and Q didn’t. |
