But that is this system. Did u not see that series against Washington? This is what happens when goaltending returns to normal or even below average. It's a team game..a big save or stolen win from a goalie can spur momentum just as much as a goal. That is an absolute fact. Furthermore if this team cannot score and is struggling then our bloody coach has to get all 5 playing nothing but d and patient hockey. THIS IS NOT WORKING!

That Washington series was quite different than what's going on right now considering that the Pens were actually scoring with more frequency.

No the Washington series looked a lot like this...but we got goals to win games. But it was a lot of turnovers and a lot of maf standing on his head. Honestly think he and the team felt he did enough to be protected from Vegas just in that series alone.

I'm watchin that new season of Black Mirror.

Not a good game for MM. Sheary fumbling pucks again just like last season. At the 3-0 mark why not try some new line combos that you haven’t before.
Let’s not forget that at some point these tired bodies are going to get a week off. If we got Kane and Girgs we can run Girgs and Sheahan as our 3C/4C and can play Sheary with Kane and Sid while Kessel plays with Guentzel and Malkin. I’d much rather try something now. It’s not like we’re freeing up tons of cap space in the off-season. Horny comes off the books and to replace him we’re going to have to pay more, right?
