I'll admit I get way to caught up reading comment sections. Politics and sports always drag me in because I just find it so...discouraging/sad/baffling... that these are real people somewhere..

Agree. Between injuries and the TDL a center that is decent on the draw and has scored an average of 50 points per 82 games over his career will return more than a non-scoring bottom end defender that is riding the pines.

I was reading that Babs really pushed for Fillpula last TDL. Had a lengthy conversation together...but in the end declined the trade because he didn't want to risk being sent down the following year.
Now that he's a "rental" I wouldn't be surprised if they tired to get him again to replace Bozak. Babs described him as everything Bozak is but good defensively...my words not his
