i'm also a fan of paying your best players the most money. there are lots of cap dollars to go around, ~$6.5M shouldn't be a problem.

Talbot has put up some decent starts as of late. I expect they get a bit of a boost once Sekera gets back from injury too.

I really hope the Leafs move on from Bozak.. watching him over the last 10+ games pretty much sealed that for me. he is 31, production is down. He just seems to make bad decisions and has lost the finish.

He also needs to be sheltered so his line doesnt get trounced defensively

the thing is..can the leafs get anything for him at this point? i am sure they can but would they move him now despite being in a playoff spot and not "sellers"

I agree even being fan of Bozak, he really looks like he lost a step...he's still ok on the PP though. But if they can't get anything for him I'm sure he'll be here until the end of the year.

I guess if the leafs want to collect more 5/6/7 D ..go for it. Saves a bit of cash also.
But I assume the Pens would want to even out the money
