Last night the Canadiens ended their losing streak, and the Senator's back up goaltender handed the Kings a late goal, and eventually the win.......... in another stupid shoot out.

When the Senators scored a shorthanded goal in the Third period, a lot of fans were thinking they might just be able to steal the game from the Kings, and with about a minute and a half to go ............

Logan Brown has been returned to major junior.

Looked quite out of place last night.

Smith hopeful for Friday. Kyle Turris is ill. Won't play tomorrow. Flu is going through room.

i was at the Phantom of the Opera and only got an update during the intermission (it was tied 1-1 at that time).

The Montreal game is actually pretty interesting. I was thinking that they were on the verge of beginning some front office moves and making a decision to go with the young guys. But winning last night might all that on hold.

Cary Price is not even close to being the best goal tender in the league this year and it is starting to impact on all matters Canadien. As the season progresses the Montreal faithful will become more outraged against dealing Sergachev. But, I don't see this as causing any problems for Drouin. Fans will question if maybe the deal could have been done without having to include the young Dman.

Filip Chlapik and Jack Rodewald called up from Belleville. Might be interesting game tonight, with as many as 4 Belleville Sens in the line up.

Habs and bruins should turn this around soon enough. Sens will start hearing the footsteps.

Wings are coming back down to earth.

Panthers and sabres are tire fires.

Bolts are the class of the division.

Solid win by the Sens with a lot of call ups to replace the missing MacArthur, Ryan, Turris and Smith.

Karlsson is slowly getting back to "normal"........ great pick off, of a pass while on the PK, and even greater rush and pass for SHG by Pageau.

Will be a good test tomorrow night, vs arguably the fastest team in the NHL.

Still one of four teams with only one loss in regulation.

Love Pageau. Coach wants him to play D and he goes head to end against other teams top centre every night. Turris has the flu and he moves into an offensive role and he gets a goal and two assists.

Watched the first period of Leaf game. Later on I listened to a bit of Leaf post game where there was lots of whining over face off infraction penalty given to Kahdri. Team gets out worked and gives up 6 goals and the main comment is about a face off violation.

Full credit to Babcock, he always has the same honest answer. Again, he says, same as Ottawa game, "we got out worked."

In hockey hard work means heart. Leafs need to show more character.

Montreal post game was a wake and funeral at the same time.

They were stunned by the fans booing Cary Price. One commentator said fans have a right to boo but they need to know that it might impact on a future free agent deciding against Montreal.

I love the Montreal tradition and their genuine passion for the game. We saw great sorrow coming out of last night.

Yes. Actually he was more okay with their booing than some of the radio commentators that covers the Canadiens. One said on the post game that booing the players might discourage free agents from signing in Montreal. The faithful a very distraught over the last three weeks.

didnt they give up multiple Leads and get lucky when Philly scored but someone said it wasnt a goal but it was?

Philly was missing simmons also.

Looks like the Sens got away with one

No Sens were ahead all game.

We saw a goal scored after the whistle was blown. Call was made on the ice.
