I said they should have tried and signed him a month ago, they were too focused on Foo. Bennett can be a bit of a band aid but I would much rather him over what Gulutzen probably thinking of doing with Cramarosa, gazdic and Glass. |

The Blues have 4 forwards injured and Bennett still got cut, meaning he was at most the 17th best forward in camp. Does not seem to be much of an upgrade. |

what's his deal or downside? There's a reason he was waived....can't all be as good or easy as you seem to be implying Todd!
A little balanced approach to the writing and assessment would be nice
like what are his weaknesses, why is he being waived? reasons not to get him, etc... |

Always liked the kid, but he's really getting close to bust level.
Hard to hold anything against him from last year though. DSP is another guy that had a bad year, but I could see rebounding. Hopefully Bennett does too. |

Stone has been playing top D pair minutes with the flames B squad against other teams A squads ....let's see how he plays when he's a 3rd pairing guy with actual NHL forwards on his team ...preseason can be misleading
