He was terrible on the second goal. Stood next to Brassard and did absolutely nothing to prevent him from shooting...both the first time and then again when he got the puck back and scored. He might as well have not even been there.

That’s how I feel about his roster spot.

It's even worse the second time seeing it.

Holy Christ!

I missed the second half of the game. Were all the shooters that bad?

I think he’s one flip out away from getting traded for a 6th rounder.

Nonsense. I'd gladly give you Sekera, Lucic and a 1st for Hickey and Ho Sang.

I flagged this on accident...

But, the answer is no...they weren't all that bad, but they were all pretty bad. They have these lightning fast guys like Beau and Barzal who are electric on breakaways during games, but when they get to the shootout, they slowly creep in toward the net instead of going in with speed. It happens so often that it's either by design or simply never talked about and discouraged.

Went to the coliseum last night for the first time and i gotta say it was like lipstick on a pig. It’s literally new seats and new paint and a few new additions. But, the concourse is still too tight and the bathroom lines were still out the door. They still had the trailers. lol. How do you spend all those millions to renovate that place and still have the same issues? The sound system kept cutting out in my section as well. 🤷🏻‍♂️
The concession stands were VERY sparse and i was basically begging to overpay for food but the lines were too long. Beer at $14.50 is a joke.......it’s Uniondale, not Yankee Stadium.

You do not have to watch an Isles shootout to know it was bad.

I even seen better shoot out attempts from pee-wee players when they play in between periods. The other weren't that bad, but only Bailey scored.

Pelech having the minutes he has is never going to turn out well. I’m curious when he became this top dman that no one knew about????

I was shocked that Komarov took the #2 shootout spot.

Odd that. I mean, what possible benefit could the coaching staff foresee in such an approach?

Pelech has been poop yes. But you who hasn’t? Mayfield. Really surprised just how well he’s played this season.

Having a PP in OT should mean game over. I understand the isles like to set up Pulock for the one T, but it can’t be the only set play on the PP. They tried it every time and never scored. With all the talented passers this team has is that the best Gomez can come up with is all 4 guys standing still feeding Pulock up top???

85% (if not higher) chirped mayfield yet he’s been putting up decent numbers. Pelech has not and yet somehow he’s given good burn.

You know that Bailey scored, right? That's not considered bad, that's actually good.

(I figured you'd better hear it from me, and not spartiarti. )

It was more infuriating that feeding Pulock one-timers was very clearly not working and they couldn't adapt and figure out another plan of attack on the fly. After like 5 one timers that were blocked they should have tried something else.

Even Barry has Cappy like moments. Playing Johnston and Martin. Was Barry thinking he was playing the Broad Street bullies last night?

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this. I mean Jesus, Gomez, come up with something else. I kept waiting for them to feed Bailey down low.

He has looked good. Which is why many were confused you bring back Martin when you have someone younger, cheaper, and tougher.
