I have it constists of a Calder trophy winner, 40 goal scorer, a guy who had 71 points last year. Another rookie with 21 goals his first year. 2 other forwards with 25 and 19 goals. 3 guys who are on the cup. Oh yea.. and a Hall of fame GM & coach which is new.

Your roster has 2 players with over 60 points.. 1 more with over 50. No one that has 40 goals. .. and you are talking sht? LOL. yeah de Haan will save you. good luck.

Are you seriously trying to hype up Josh "Had His Best Season In A Contract Year At Age 28" Bailey?

Barzal is great.

Beauvillier was a 2nd year player. He scored 9 as a rookie.

And if you're going that route, the Canes have 5 guys who are on the cup including one who's been on there 3 times and won it WITH THE HURRICANES. So I dunno if that's really giving you an edge there.

Andrew Ladd
Cal Clutterbuck
Casey Cizikas
Leo Komarov
Valtteri Filpula
Matt Martin
Ross Johnston
Tom Kuhnackl

That's $21.8 Million for 8 guys that combined for 53 goals last season in 6795 minutes of ice time.

You have fun with that.

Different situation.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vegas fails to reach 35 wins this year.

normally i would agree with you...hard to expect him to get point per game in 2nd year but think this kid is different..might be wrong but his drive and skill are off the charts..it didn't matter what line he was on he had people scoring

No question he has skill and confidence. Next season the Isles will be back to being a one line team and Barzal will be the number one player on the team by far. We'll see how he handles the pressure. We also don't know what Trotz will do with the lines. I am hoping that kid that won the Calder crushes it and keeps beating that "me against the world" drum.

Lot of pressure on Lee and Bailey to show they can still produce without JT. Lee proved in the past he can score without being on JT line, but Bailey has yet to show it. The line combos will be very interesting. I still hope the Barxal line remains as is and Nelson and Kovar fight it out over who goes with Lee and Bailey.

Maybe , Maybe not on the one line team... really hopeful Kovar or Nelson will step up in that 2c role...then we will have 2 decent lines...one thing about barzal is i didn't matter his linemates he seemed to produce with anyone.

I am hoping Trotz can light a fire under Nelson, but I'm not counting on it given his history. I'd be glad to be proven wrong.

I have a real bad feeling we will see the old Bailey again. I'd like to see him paired with Lee again to see if they can keep the chemistry. I can't find the stats, but I remember hearing Bailey had a lot of first assists last season. With Lee crashing the net maybe the two of them could still be effective.

If wahlstom and bellows can have a strong camp .... lee and bailey might be worth getting rid of quick while they can get something back for them both...wouldnt mind keep eberle with the way barzal seems to play with him.

What I'm most interested in seeing is if Trotz can get the forwards to be more defensively responsible. They don't have to score a lot of goals, if they can limit the other teams' goals. A 2-1 victory is as good as a 6-5 victory. Not saying that's gonna happen ....... the D and the goaltending are still questionable ........ but it could be the biggest change we see next season.

I wonder how Josh Bailey is going to react the first time Trotz tells him to throw a check on someone.
