I love Trotz' answer when asked about the play. He went right to the point ... Brock was behind the play and b/c of that was pushing him from behind. He did not say that Brock pushed him into Lehrner, but called him and others out for being constantly out of position. This team was so good for so long at being in the right place and all the sudden all these horrible habits are back. Brock and Boychuk were following their guy to the net. They need to straighten this sht out quickly... very frustrating to watch.

Very aggressive interview by Trotz calling out his guys if you have not seen it. Only guy he praised was MDC.

Yeah and he’ll probably sit for kuhnackl shortly😂

I liked "puljarvi pretended to want something with johnston"

Burke is awesome and what makes him endearing to us as fans is he give subtle little jabs to the don cherry's and people who kick this fanbase

- Upstate_isles

Burke is just a great play by play guy. He has done a good job.

Dal Colle, by the way, might have been the best Islanders forward last night. He was excellent at getting to the front of the net at the right times. I don't know what their plans are for him, but he's been busting his ass pretty much all season and he's obviously getting better because of that. I think they should keep him up if for no other reason than he's a good example of the hard-work-produces-results identity Trotz is building.

Barry seems to like MDC. He has played a smart solid game.

I've posted many times I'd like to see MDC next year on the 3rd line with a better center. He seems to be a Barry time player that can add some offense. Hopefully with more experience comes more offense.

I would take a third line guy that can play two ways and chip in 10 to 15 goals. Guys like that are huge role players on winning teams

He's already done a bunch of playoff games for NBCSN, just not the marquee ones. I know he's done some Sharks games and other stuff on the West coast. We'll lose him eventually.

I agree upstate. I can see MDC chipping in 15-20 goals.

Christopher Gibson isn't on the ice with the Sound Tigers this morning. (Think it's Chris Terreri on the other side from Jeremy Smith) That's all I got at the moment.

Any chance you can light up your Sorokin bat signal and get him here a little bit earlier?

At least greiss has just as good of numbers as lehner that's the only positive here. Let's hope this isn't long term but it could be a concussion

Something tells me breaking a Russian contract to go live and work in the US when you play for the Red Army team in Moscow isn't the best move for your long-term health
