Why does the right side of Nancy Pelosi’s face look like it’s going to jump off and run away?

Because it's the only group of cells anywhere in her body with a modicum of intelligence.

Is this a trick question?

This whole crapshoot of video replay for offsides is bullpoopt! When you need to look at multiple camera angles in slow motion to top it off... NHL has to clean that crap up. Why not allow a replay on the double minors that in reality should of gave the Isles a 2 minute 5 on 3...? I know you can’t win em all, but this one stinks!

No question. His linemates aren't any better........in fact, Bailey is worse.

I meant that when everyone else is standing around watching Barzal skate then he is forced to make low percentage plays.

Yeah it does but thems the breaks. Bruins played a good game and wanted it more for most of the night imo. Our first line flat out sucks for a stretch now and we’re not going to win many games expecting our goaltenders to play like that every night. Beau, Bailey, and Barzal are stinking it up out there.

Yeah, we had this debate the last time an Islander goal was washed out by an offsides. If it's that close, and the refs missed it, count it. Their calls should only be overturned on blatant mistakes.

😂

I recall a few times when exactly that happened. Bailey absolutely motionless then suddenly remembering he was playing hockey and someone was paying him to play then back into the catatonic state again a few moments later. Beau I’m just getting increasingly more tired of watching. He turned the puck over at the blue line multiple times and the usual out of position or doing a whole lot of nothing out there. He looks like tanner fritz.

Is it crazy to try Lee Barzal and Eberle? Something has to give with that 1st line.

Been saying for a while throw Bailey up with lee and reunite Eberle with Barzal. Lee isn’t exactly lighting up the world. Top six is misfiring lately.

I can just imagine a conversation between Bailey’s and Clutterbuck’s dads on this father’s trip:
Mr. Bailey: "Good thing Snow was in charge long enough to take care of our boys... "
Mr. Clutterbuck: "Shut up!"

Jesus barzal has a couple bad games and here comes the mob and it's worse on Twitter
- Upstate_isles

I don’t know about twitter but are we the mob?

I think it’s pointing out the obvious that he needs a “selfish” guy to play with, he’s clearly trying to do too much. Bailey is the one who’s terrible right now. I don’t think I’m criticizing him, but the fact is he had some bad giveaways tonight. He’ll turn it around, I don’t think that’s a question, but if this team wants to get to that upper echelon, Lou is gonna have to get a top-tier winger within the next 4 weeks.

Maybe not you but isles fans in general will turn on the team quicker than almost any fanbase. Bailey has been bad but every team keys in on barzal and he has no help out there. Panarin would be huge

I agree Potvin. The biggest issue is Bailey. Beau has not been good as well. Barzal does need to be better but he needs help as well. Barry is a great coach but the mix is off at forward.

The bigger difference between those two is that Bailey just goes through the motions sometimes (a lot lately, it seems) whereas at least Beau still hustles the majority of time.

I mean, I don’t know what personifies Bailey’s play of late more than the puck dribbling off his stick trying to break out of their zone on the power play or the lazy pass he tried to make 30 seconds later that was easily stolen and fired down the ice by the penalty killer.

No big deal, right? Lol, there’s only about 4 minutes left in a game you’re losing by 1 goal.

Upstate....Panarin would be huge but the BJs aren’t trading him within the division. No way, I don’t care what anyone says. If he hits UFA, we should be on him like white on rice.

Beau works hard but he needs to work smarter. Lots of wasted energy with Beau. Bailey is just flat out lazy and has always been afraid to be hit. Bailey hates games against teams like the Bruins.

I agree Barzal needs a Panarin or Stone type player. Isles need to get Panarin or Duchene this offseason.

Thus, against the bigger, bruising teams, it might make sense to sit the soft players like Bailey, and play Mooseknuckle or even Ross the Boss.

Bailey should sit next game even if the Devils are not a tough team. This would send a great message a really get the teams attention.

Bailey hasn't responded to messages well in the past. He plays a little harder then reverts to his old ways. He was looking at lot better for a while. Its disappointing the old Bailey is back. I think they should shake up the top two lines.
