i remember listening to komets games in the late 60's at the dawn of the expansion era, i'd search the dial for any hockey broadcasts when the flyers weren't playing and would usually find the blackhawks 3rd period broadcasts on WGN or the bruins on WBZ, occasionally the blues on KMOX and of course the fort wayne K's on WOWO. i found it interesting that an IHL team was broadcast on a 50,000 watt station but enjoyed their games. RIP Bob Chase

Followed the unafilliated AA pro Colonial Hockey League of which the Komets were a part of. Didn't know of Chase until then but Komet fans made me aware. Indeed Bob Chase was a pros pro in every sense of the word.

RIP Mr Chase!!
