That has never been priority #1 with Snow. He has proven that time and again. Hoping the Pens absolutely demolish us on Friday

The way the Caps did the Pens last night.

Well Tampa got killed then played us so here comes Pittsburgh because real teams get angry when they get killed maybe their coaches yell and skate them or make changes to the issues they are having.

Yeah just wait till we trade barzal or del colle or ho sang for a bottom 6 winger and put the guy with jt I wouldn't mind Saad if the price was right
- Upstate_isles[/img]

What the hell is a trade going to do anyway? Crappy can't coach talent. Let's play this out. Let's just say that Snow pulls the trigger on that 1w for JT. A legit 1w. Let's say he gives up Dal Colle, DeHaan & a 1st. What's your response? Mine would be, where was that during his hibernation period, I mean the summer. And Crappy is still the coach. You're putting a Band-Aid on a chainsaw wound. Is he going to be Milbury and empty the cupboards just in an effort to save his buddies ass? They both have to go.

Not our coach. He goes crying to media in search of pity. "It's a bad dream", "We can't get any puck luck", "our battle level wasn't there", "Garth is going to kick me out of his basement".

Yeah it's funny. Some of them are pretty level-headed. Others are just as out-to-lunch as Crappy.

6 7 and ses seem prettylevel headed and make valid points . Kr and fan101 are nuts fan 101 says things that are contradicting to downright jibberish

I honestly think they should both stay the year so we get the highest pick possible and be fIred as soon as the final buzzer sounds on game 82. Season is probably shot so now it's time to pull a maple leaf and tank

6, 7 and SES are, I agree. Another one is JMO. He's all over the place too. And you can't speak logically to him. He's too much fan boy. Like when I said yesterday to remove yourself from being a fan and look objectively. His first response was, "how do you not look into something you dropped half a billion into." I thought that I covered that in my little blurb. I believe you and a couple others replied to it. And Spartiarti, I think he's an immigrant. He types in broken English. I don't have anything against him, think he's funny sometimes.

I disagree that the season is shot. It could be saved, but change would have to happen now. Of course, they missed their window to introduce a new coach. The next time they have this many days off between games is from the end of December to the 6th of January.

That's all fine and dandy and I get the mindset, but my biggest concern still remains that they are showing Tavares that they lack any sort of direction or even a semblance of direction.

When it comes time to weigh his options, he's going to sit there and think "well what have these guys really done to prove to me that they are trying their hardest to actually make this team into a Cup contender". They were seemingly heading (mostly) in the right direction, but after this summer and this season (to date)...the wheels have completely come off.

If we tank this whole season and end up with Nolan Patrick, that kid better be one hell of a player because I won't be wholly convinced that he can make up for the potential loss of Tavares.

He was picked as 1 of 4 can't miss picks along with Matthew's eichal and McDavid. I'm sure you saw the Mckenzie tweet about jt loving NY and he's said he wants to stay and turn this around from day one. One thing I am confident about is him staying he's a stand up guy but I could be wrong. They are still only 6 points out but they need to get going like yesterday. Also a trade would be OK if we got a legit player under contract but what are we giving up?

I don't think it matters who we get or who we give up (it does matter, but that's a different story). My point is, Crappy is so (frank)ed in the head, it doesn't matter who gets brought in, Crappy will ruin them anyway. Just like he's done with everyone not named JT.

I do think he wants to stay and I'm not convinced he's leaving or anything, but he'll be 27 when his contract ends and 28 by the time the new one starts. If this organization can't get their act together between now and then and at least appear to be making a concerted effort then I'm not so sure his love of NY is going to trump his desire to win a Cup. At age 28 you only have around 5-or-so years left in your true prime and you're probably starting to wonder if the team you're with is going to get you to where you want to be. That's all, I'm not saying the sky is falling regarding JT...just that this team needs to prioritize him ASAP or it might blow up in their face.

Agreed maybe this year isn't great but they clean house and actually get him the winger he needs or show him signs it will be better. If they lose him I may have to stop watching. It took Barry sanders and Calvin Johnson retiring early because of the Lions incompetence to finally make me stop watching football all together Mickey mouse both teams are

Exactly. We know things weren't all lollipops and unicorns before this season, but there was progress. Albeit slug-paced progress, but progress nonetheless. 2 steps forward and 18 steps back. The owners definitely need to prove that they are serious about this team. I don't want to hear a thing from them, I want action.

I don't think I could ever stop watching or rooting for the Islanders, but I would most certainly stop being a money-spending, die hard fan. I'm not spending money on tickets, train, concessions, etc... (I've never been a "jersey" guy) to go watch them if he leaves, that I can promise. I'll watch on TV, but it won't be a "can't-miss" thing like it usually is for me. If I have time and feel like watching I'll flip the game on, but I'm not clearing my schedule to watch them if Tavares leaves.

Anyway, getting way ahead of ourselves. Things suck right now but the world isn't ending. Sounds like Snow is out there shopping for a winger, so let's see what he can find.

My gut tells me Saad is a pipe dream, I can't imagine why they'd make an in-division trade unless CBJ wants to get ripped off or we overpay.

Duchene is an interesting thought, although he's concussed right now. He ain't coming cheap though. Be prepared to lose one of Barzal/JHS/Beauvillier and then some.

Staple said there were scouts at CGY/ARI last night. Wouldn't be surprised if CGY moved Bennett, but not sure he is the answer either.

Yeah not sure who they are scouting there and Barry retired 14 years before cj so I have time
but you take jt off this team and there's no one to watch
