It's been no secret that Russel and Calgary have been working on a deal for weeks, and that likely the moment we signed Johnny the deal would be finalized!

The fact that BT just traveled out to see Johnny and now all of the sudden Russel is signing in Edmonton? Makes me think a deal is close for the flames and Johnny. I'm speculating but maybe there signing him for more than they wanted and maybe BT has reached out to Russel telling him he should look else where!?

Hope you're right. This team is fcking boring without JH. One goal in the last three pre season games.
