I think he'll be solid, but I do wonder about his production up here. Like, what are the expectations? 15-20 goals and 40 points? He was a 23-year-old in a lessor collegiate level than most NCAA prospects. I see the skill that enamors a lot with him, but I am definitely curious to see what happens if he doesn't come out and succeed right away.

He's going to regret choosing the Rangers. They are probably better than the Bruins as of now but they are going to face a quick decline in the next couple of years. While I am disappointed, I still think the Bruins will be fine.

we saw eichel simmer down when he had to play more than 40 games.

How do you know? He told close friends you say. So does that mean you know his friends so in turn you know Vessey? Which means you know why he changed his mind. No? You don't know why he chose NY instead of Boston? Why not? Ohhhhh. You're not in his inner circle. Got it. If you are a die hard fan and "hoped" for him to sign in Boston, then I can completely understand that. I hoped he was going to sign in Chicago. But don't spout off hope and try to sell it as fact. Vessey made his choice based on a number of factors. And no one on here posting in forums knows exactly what those factors were because if we did, then we wouldn't be posting on here

My two cents

It is my opinion that the player who's name that will not be mentioned knew all along where he was going, He had to wait until August 16th before he could announce his decision. His agent was the one spinning everything and he ended up somewhere that had a GM who happened to be great friends with the agent and also pretty good friends with the director of player personal, It helped that he was also chummy with 3 of the players on the Blue shirts. The fact that he waited for Friday to make his choice known was a very good cover in a attempt to avoid tampering charges.
