Edler for 14? Youll walk away with Bean unless you opt for one of the other two.

I don't totally understand this rationale. This isn't the NFL or NBA where a guy is going to step in and make a difference. The Bs actually look pretty solid on D for the future, its the NOW that's the problem. Drafting projects like Fabbro (who I prefer) or McAvoy are going to do nothing to solve their issues.

So - that said - the Bs need to evaluate their "farm system" for what it is and fill in appropriately. Seems to me the biggest need within the prospect pool is for a center with speed and size. Bergy and DK are 30, and there isn't much behind them except for Forsbaka. If I'm the Bs I'm looking for McLeod early and Howden late in the first.

Oh.. and if you Must have a D to replace Z, why not Logan Stanley with the 29th?

I agree that they have lauzon, Carlo, zboril, morrow, c. Miller, trotman

I also agree that they need d now and that no pick they get will have an impact next season.

I believe a package with one of the picks and a young d-man such as morrow or trotman for a solid D would be the best route. Maybe the pick and trot for someone. Maybe throw in someone in that for shattenkirk...

Depends on what they'll fetch with that pick...
