Bonbon I was never his. It was the classroom fish of JR's 2nd grade class and each week the kid who read the most pages of their book would get to take it home for the weekend. We got it a couple of times and Natasho decided he wanted one and that it would be named Bonbon

Bonbon II lasted about 10 minutes. I set up the little tank, went to wash my hands and when I walked back he was floating in the tank, seemingly broken in half. Natasho admitted that he had tried to hug him and play with him.

He was devastated and I explained fish to him.

Bonbon III lived like a king. He was fed a variety of fish foods and treats and his tank was cleaned on a regular basis. On occasion Natasho would draw a fish on the inside of a post-it note and stick it to the tank so the fish would have a friend. The past few days I could tell the fish was spending more time in his little crocodile skull hidey-hole so I was unsurprised when news of his passing swept through the house .

jr and his buddy were going down steep rocky hills on their bikes yesterday when Jr went ass over head.


His entire body this morning looked like a huge scab.

I was furious because he didn't wear the GoPro.

Also lol he started hockey camp this morning and limped in like a cripple.

He is in 1st grade now and by Christmas will no longer completely illiterate.

my niece is driving and it's the dumbest thing i've ever seen. she was in a high chair watching elmo like 3 days ago.

The passage of time erases many things and I thought this was one of them but yesterday i was at a shop with jr and there was a random Flyers jersey in a rack of jerseys and he grabbed the sleeve and said "we should get that for crims"
