Still believe in Giroux, still like a few other pieces they have

Not gonna be negative. It doesn't change anything. This team has flaws, it will take at least another two years to truly see if they are addressed, and I am just not gonna stroke out when they lose to teams that are better than them. I want them to win, but sometimes you have to acknowledge where you are

Bill. You have permission to tank also. Cut back on the blogs, spend more time with the family. No need to get crazy with the details of the suckage. Etc. Take the opportunity to travel the world or something.

I see some pieces here they can still build around. G and Jake, Coots, Mase. Laughton maybe.

Everyone else is starting to look movable for better fitting pieces.

Brutal. So tired of hearing excuses about how hard they play but just don't get the breaks. No, they don't play that hard for 60 minutes.

Keep Simmonds and Medvedev as well. The rest can go for draft picks at the deadline. Embrace the rebuild and after the deadline bring up the best of the Phantoms and give them the experience they will need for next October.

I like Simmonds. I really do. I just don't see the fit with so many other holes. I would love to keep him around but you've got Jake and BSchenn playing RW and Konecny knocking on the door. Look at the left side, its Raffl and Read then nothing of note. Maybe one of the AHL kids stick but even that is a long shot.

They are in dire, dire need of a legit top 6 LW who can produce.

I missed the entire game too. I looked at my phone in the third period and saw 5-2. I was actually impressed the scored 2 goals.

I think most of us felt they'd be a bubble team, but would likely miss playoffs. But after an encouraging, but inconsistent start, the issues remained and snowballed. Now it seems like the only time they have a shot to win, is when the goalie stands on his head.

I would not be amazed, if the losing continues in the manner it has, if we see a player move. Hextall is patient, but the situation is becoming toxic.

Tkachuk and Laine are solid left wing options. Seems like the flyers are on a collision course to get one of them in june.

The question is how long will these kids take to develop? Because it's painfully clear that G and Jake need help now. They cant solve this LW mess solely by drafting a kid next summer that won't be here until 2017 or later.
