And there you go people who kept whining about it this whole time. Voynov has left the country....

EDIT: And to everyone that was complaining why he wasn't terminated The Kings, obviously, were in fact GOING TO TERMINATE Voynov. It was a matter of when, but instead he left the country anyways.

Are dumb or something? Serious question... What the hell are the Kings going to do to stop him? If he wasn't leaving the country LA would have terminated his contract. For all we know ICE was going to kick him out regardless but Voynov took the liberty upon himself to leave. It's for the best anyways

Conduct awareness training?

Isn't this a common sense thing? I'm mean NHL players should know not to beat or rape women, use drugs, or get DUI's right?

Normal, decent, law abiding concepts should not have to be trained into players.

No. Some don't. Some are real mouth breathers. Or they've been coddled and told how great they are for years and had everything given to them based on their on-ice play. Some feel entitled to it. And some are just sick (franks). They have not evolved in a typical manner. They need this, just like they need help balancing a check book. Not an excuse. Just a reality.

Serious question. How do the Kings, according to LeBrun, retain his rights, but have no salary commitment? Even the Coyotes have Pronger on their books counting against their cap. Which is borderline cap circumvention because everybody knows he's never going to play again. He hasn't retired because it would end up screwing the Flyers, but that's a whole other thing.

Also, to the above comments about NHL players and common sense. The NHL is no different than regular society. Statistically speaking, some are going to abuse drugs/alcohol(probably actually higher than the national average for obvious reasons), some are going to beat their spouses/girlfriends, some are going to be literal geniuses, and some are going to be on the slow side, some are going to be sociopaths, psychopaths, and rapists. Most are going to be average, everyday, good people, albeit in much better shape.

Chris Kluwe recently wrote an article about how the only thing he misses about the NFL is the locker room, and how they(NFL players) are just like everybody else; except that they run the 40 yard dash faster than you do. http://www.rollingstone.c...-nfl-locker-room-20150901 it's a pretty fascinating read if you like behind the scenes stuff.

OHHHHHH MY BAD. I apologize . But yeah I agree, I am so tired of these people who think they know everything and anything when Most kings fans were taking the, wait and let's see approach. Again, Richards is a complete business decision where the Kings are trying the last resort in getting out of his contract. Some people just don't get it. Life isn't fair. Big hey, the Kings were gonna to terminate Voynov regardless. He's out of the country now, which is for the best

"We swear we was gonna terminate Voynov's contract too! That's why we even broke league rules and invited him to practice last year. Y'all can trust us!"

Sorry boys, I don't buy a word your management says right now. I am hopeful the CAT initiative is real though. Something clearly needs to happen in your team's organization. If they can clean it up going forward, I'll respect the crown again. Just count me as wait and see on this one for now. You "wait and see what the Kings do to Voynov" people can understand that, right?

Consider me hopeful the Kings will deserve honor again soon. But get someone to watch Lucic on the road.
