I've had some that were worse than a hangover. Literally could not get out of bed.

Yeah, I heard about those evil migraines...

Sir, take great care or yourself. We need you in the Society...

woke up i guess about an hour before my alarm was set to go off with a terrible headache.

i tried to sleep until it was time to get up but it was torture. when i got up it was the kind of headache that hurts with every move you make, every breath you take (it's not just a song anymore).

i took a vicodin and grabbed some coffee. it has dulled a little bit, but it's still there.

Today I have a migraine. I woke up with it just getting over it. Debilitating, couldn't get out of bed.

I stopped eating chocolate and drinking red wine. They were serious triggers for me...like within a 1/2 hour, especially if I was tired or dehydrated. Rarely have them now and they aren't even close to as debilitating. Basically get the visual mexican poncho patterns for 20 mins and then its over. If I can, I sit back close my eyes and enjoy the light show now.

Yeah, I heard those can be bad for people with migraines (same for cheese).

What do you drink now at nights, sir? I know you and I cannot write on this site after 6:00pm sober.

bourbon or scotch mostly...sometimes vodka. This time of year I might have a rum or 15.

scotch is a great healer. I once broke my leg in a few places and I laid around drinking scotch and was out of the cast two weeks earlier than expected. my hair turned white but thats ok.

I would like to tell you I like scotch but it's mostly just beer (not that much) and wine (very much) for me.

I liked both, gave up red wine for obvious reasons but still like beer

I can drink white wine like water and wake up the next day in top form. Can't say the same about red wine.

Thanks for the tip, sir. I know some I get are due to dehydration. Been trying to maintain a healthy weekly water consumption.
