Boeser seems like a great steal at the draft. It was a clean hit for sure. People can say all they want about McCan not having his head up but the reality is, there isn't a single person on these forums who could have accepted the pass that he did and not taken the same hit. It was a bad bad pass from Roy and Lowry should have talked to him about how stupid that was. Didn't coaches always tell kids to exit the puck up the boards and not up the middle anyways??..

If you don't have the skill, you have to crash and bang. Hopefully, with the addition of Prust and Sutter, there will be more crashing and banging and a more entertaining product on the ice.

This retool won't be the cheaper alternative to a tank if people stop attending games. But the same components of both, bringing in some youth like Horvat and JV, is what fans want to see.

i remember when i was little some hockey show on CBC about a team that was supposed to be i think the Nordiques and in one episode some dumb f*ck made the same kind of pass but into a guy's skates on purpose so he'd get leveled and i think he got his arse kicked for it...

I am not sure how McCan avoids that hit. If the defender has enough time to read the opposing defender's pass up the middle, the blame must be defenseman with the awful break out pass. Roy messed up that pass big time.

absolutely no point in dressing a player who is almost a for sure lock to make the team, for the exhibition games. He has had concussion problems in the past as well.

He's probably be better off bulking up than playing these random summer games anyway imo. Especially since he had a shorter off-season with the OHL playoffs.

I would caution that the weather can be pretty lousy in October/ November. Also, you mentioned you snowboard and Whistler doesn't open until American Thanksgiving.
