Douggie Hamilton at 7million for 6 or 8 years growing with this group of young forwards??? Shouldn't be a doubt. Offer sheet him....and do it NOW.

Would be a sweet addition for the Oilers if they got him!

So wouldn't the compensation for team looking to retool and restock the farm. Plus he goes west.

I hope teams wage war on each other with offer sheets and turn silly season into a hatefest between GMs. I wanna see NYR, CHI, LAK, and BOS all get screwed over royally with them. Didn't Eklund say that offer sheets are extremely expensive for legal departments to draw up?

Cause the bruins draft so well. . .

Besides Pasta and Hamilton they have nothing to show for draft picks since 2010.

Would be absolutely wonderful if the Oilers offer sheeted Hamilton , it would just be a continuation of Karma getting back at the Gooinz

Jury is still out on Subban and Kochlachev. Spooner seems to be finally working. There was a period there where it was bad. That group was also fired. The new group is who drafted Pastrnak so I have a little faith.

Would have to be 7 years max. And who says he wants to play in Edmonton? Just because they offer it doesn't mean he has to sign it.

imo, for offer sheets to work, they have to be predatory. Simply throwing an offer sheet at Hamilton is such a low probability of success, that I don't see anyone doing it.

The dual offer sheet examples in the article to Jones/Toffoli and Spooner/Hamilton are good examples of predatory offer sheets that are likely to have some success.

Are there any other teams with enough cap space to put in an offer sheet?
