Hi Bill, fine job as always!

Quick question: Any idea what the team's plan is in regards to the backup goalie spot for next season?

They would like an vet NHLer for backup. I know they would like Zepp back again as Phantoms starter and NHL 3rd goalie on the depth chart but that will be up to Rob.

Fairly safe to say flyers draft a goalie this year?

Thanks
Pretty much what I figured, hoping for at least a slight upgrade from Emery. Perhaps a guy like Greiss?

MSG sounds really quiet for a playoff game where they are winning.

Johnstown wins Pittsburgh and their suburbs is really a huge hockey market compared to downtown Philly

So for the Phantoms next year, assuming Manning can make it as the 6/7 guy in the NHL:

Ghost-Marti
Morin-Hagg
Petterson-Alt

Am I missing anyone?

Any whispers of Hexy looking at the trade market for a backup? Perhaps Lack or Markstrom from the Canucks?

Greiss is a FA, so is Josh Harding. He might be intriguing, he's got the health concerns, but he's had stretches where he's played some outstanding hockey

Ottawa could have a goalie logjam if they sign Hammond.

Not including Manning who will likely be with the Flyers and Lamarache who will probably be in Reading, the Flyers have six guys signed who figure to be on the Phantoms at the start of next season. Alt and Pettersson are righties.

I would take a flyer on Harding. The guy was playing Vezina hockey before his setback and the Wild never gave him a decent shot since then.
