looking at the year-by-year GAR of mike richards, you really do get a good sense of where his production tailed off fairly dramatically.

might need to do some trend analysis on this site before putting good money down on a jersey next season!

I love that your such a stats guy......I am one that likes to see some data to support the going ons..the nerd toon is funny but I will always look forward to your statistical analysis of the Kings ups and downs. Even though our boys are now on to their summer break, I will still be checking this site daily for your insightful blogs

WAR has me really intrigued, I can't seem to find it sorted by season though. GAR seems more just based on goal and point rates per minute.

WAR definitely seems to quantify a players value. I'm not quite sure I understand how Kopitar has almost twice the value of Carter or Gaborik. These advanced metrics are great, if only we didn't have the salary cap. http://royallycrowned.com
