262 was assembled in caves outside of Vienna Austria... and they proved less useful as a result of insufficient fuel...

couldn't maximize the speed advantage because of "poor" fuel.

- BorjeFan4Ever

It was a combination of poor training, maintenance issues and the fuel issues among other things. Plus the aircraft experienced delays into service as Hitler wanted them to be used as a bomber instead of a fighter.

TSN frontpage says Maple Leafs have too much pride to tank. Somebody should tell them the only way to avoid tanking is to have too much talent.
- JohnFergusonJr

Pride? lol what pride? Salute-gate pride? The lack of response to pucks being shot at Dion pride?

These guys are a joke. They don't care anymore. All they want is for the season to end so they can hit the green...

It's all lip service anyway. If they had pride, it wouldn't be this bad to begin with. Everybody knows none of those guys are going to block a shot with their face for a game and a team that is meaningless. The best they can hope for is just not to get blown out every game.

I'm just hoping they go back to losing 5-4 because at least their offensive stats get padded and maybe they can get a little extra out of it when they get traded.

- JohnFergusonJr

If Hutch has a bad game and Bernier plays like his usual self, 5-4 could be very possible.

Yeah, that's a good point. No one's going to go the extra mile at this point. Or, really, if some of the young guys do demonstrate that they will play all-out, those are the guys you like.

She didn't work for me at all, but it's all subjective.
- Zezel

Yeah, it is subjective. I've been a Batman nerd my entire life, and while she wouldn't have been my cast I think she did well. Not really a Hathaway fan either.

I remember being so bitter when I heard Heath Ledger was going to play the Joker, because I loved that character so much. Ledger nailed it, and I didn't question any of the casting for Rises.

I think you are exactly right for a group of them (not all of them).

Hopefully the media keeps hounding them and asking the same questions. Eventually someone (probably Phil) will crack.

That locker room has to be pretty divided now... otherwise a kid like Rielly wouldn't be calling out his teammates by calling them girls... as Reimer did as well.

Burmistrov made his choice.

Dont come back.

- Lee Denault

Imagine a player wanting to play in his own country for more money... what a loser.... I would take Burmistov for Winnik in a heartbeat....

Let me guess you are you a Komagod preacher.... because he made his choice too and yet we love him....

The young guys are going to be trying hard just because they don't want their name being pulled through the mud. Having a bad reputation at a young age isn't something these guys want, especially when their ELC expires.

This is why guys like Clarkson give up once they strike it big, because there's nothing anybody can do to take that money away from him.

Just another reason to make this team as young as possible. Cheaper, more talented and more desire.

listening to Rielly and Reimer's commentaries... this essentially what both were saying - Reimer "play like men".... Rielly "not like girls"...

Than he should of made up his mind before coming over here and (frank)ing over a team, no?

Trade Winnik for this kid only for him to turn around and say 'I'm going back home'

Bravo, nice work
