How badly does Rinaldo have to play till someone in Flyers management notices?

Until somebody else comes along who can hit more? Rinaldo started out the season looking OK, but as soon as Bellemare got moved up and Akeson got buried, his play took a turn for the worse.

He's running around a bit too much for my liking, again. That the penalties he's taken since his return from injury are borderline, doesn't eliminate them. He's always going to have that Zac Attack rep, until he earns the benefit of the doubt from the refs, just like he earned the bad rep to begin with.

That's it call Laughton up and give him Bellemare back, we need his stupidity to be dialed down a few notches

Nope, Rinaldo and VandeVelde are key contributors to the 25th ranked PK as well as being awful at preventing shots or driving play.

Rinaldo hasn't been on ice for a Flyers shot attempt since the LA game.

Fine call up Laughton. Your bias is showing

I have no other suggestions, since the coach is stubborn in his ways

The recent play of Michael Del Zotto, including last night, has been a bright spot for Berube's team. The player's once-sagging confidence seems to be restored. Last night, he logged 23:55 of generally strong ice time and played well without the puck as well as having several shifts where he made excellent plays to lead or join the play offensively.

Value signing of the summer, hands down.

Ugh.. couldn't watch the game last night and doesn't look like I missed much. Really disappointed that they didn't get any points vs Florida and it sounds like they didn't even show up in the first half.. from watching the highlights, it looks like Mase played very well which is a positive.

This guy is just so amazing in practice. Call his agent, Let's sabotage him with a multiyear contract!

Mason was really good, maybe a but leaky on first goal, but not his fault. He made a bunch of huge saves to keep it 1-0

Very frustrating as Rinaldo is bringing absolutely nothing to the team at this point. However, I'm more concerned with the complete lack of production from the 2nd and 3rd lines. Even before Berube needlessly switched everything up to make room for VLC, neither line was producing offense at 5 on 5. As long as this continues, this team is going straight to the draft lottery.

L2 was on a mini-roll, 2 ES goals in the previous 2-games. Possession-wise, they were rock-solid, too.

L3 was flagging... buckling under the defensive pressure, being buried in the DZ, and Read/Umberger's struggles.

Yeah, Rinaldo and the 4th line are way down the list if L2 & L3 are as ineffective as they were last night. Line shuffling, playing down to a "lesser" opponents level, whatever, they flat out sucked for 30+minutes last night. Little or no intensity, piss poor execution and they looked totally out of sync.

As somebody said on twitter last night, they're really missing not having Umberger
