this guy just has matches collected by month. so it sort of tells the storyline enough to follow. but he's missing big chunks of months. i'm at feb 93. rick rude and vader and poop. the flyin brian push is in full effect.

(i think like 90% of the guys we've mentioned just now are dead)

i never saw any of Brian Pillman live but anything I've gone back to watch has been excellent.

he had a tag match with Arn vs Surfer Sting & Flair. Great match, and then you won't guess what happens, but Flair turns on Sting!

and they form a new 4 Horseman stable. I forget who the 4th was but I think it was Benoit

Yeah Flair would have returned around then. He wasn't at WM9 which was 92 or 93.

I remember one of the matches I watched was when Pillman quit WCW during the "I Quit" match against... Kevin Sullivan. You could tell it was pretty much shoot because for some reason Arn comes out to finish the match... but then nothing really happens.

I went and read up on it after and Pillman worked Bischoff into actually firing him over this angle so that they could work the dirt sheets, he could go to ECW and get red hot and then come back for a match against Hogan or something like that.

But he just (frank)ed off to ECW and since he didn't have a contract he went over to WWE and did the stuff with Austin

i've heard similar. "oh yeah he's pretty good"

it may be just me but i'd rather if he got a ring name of his own instead of using his dads+jr.

i know its his actual name, but i'd be curious to see what people though if there wasn't that scent of "i liked his dad" in almost every conversation about him

Big bummer is that its the American version, which means that they're going to censor nudity. Europeans got it figured out. Tits everywhere.

i have no idea. i'm up to 1994 in my wcw watching.

they did mention the undertaker/goldberg thing on jim cornette's podcast. sounded like they didn't want to get into it out of respek for undertaker so i'm guessing it sucked balls. i'm picturing 4 minute bear hugs and other assorted rest holds. "okay, now grab a sleeper on me!"

my interest died for good when promos died. i watched for the promos. now it's just guys with 8th grade educations showing off their lack of reading skills with no feeling or emotion or humor or anything in it.
