The only Luger character that I ever found even remotely interesting was the Narcissist Lex Luger where he posed in front of mirrors before matches.

Generic black tights and "Hey guys this is Hulk Hogan I swear it" Lex Luger was pretty meh overall imo.

i'm actually surprised anyone likes any version of luger.

to me he had the build and nothing else. he had no charisma, no mic skills, and if you knew a kid who was on the fence about whether or not wrestling was real you could just show him a lex luger match and he'd have everything figured out long before the pin.

at least a gigantic part of why young kicksave chose wcw over wwf was because wwf seemed too cartoony with all the colorful outfits and goofball characters.

Outside of the top guys like Razor, Diesel, Bret, Shawn and Taker the rest of the roster was pretty bad in that era, yeah.

I didn't have the TBS channel growing up. My grandparents did so occasionally I would see the Saturday night super show when I stayed out there some weekends.

the dancing German guy lol. Alex Wright? And Disco inferno. Pretty sure they wrestled each other every week on that show.

oh yeah, the german guy and all that came a little later to keep up with the joneses (mcmahons) though.

when i got into wrestling wwf had guys in pajamas putting magic spells on each other and wcw (which i think was still called nwa when i first started watching) had normal looking guys actually hitting each other. the most ridiculous thing you had to believe in was the heart punch.

ronnie garvin and barry windham (just regular barry) and tag teams with "express" in their names fighting it out.

heyman was paul e dangerously and jim cornette was jim cornette and they used to hit each other with a tennis racket and the cordless phone from dan's avatar.

WWF had one too. I also tried to subscribe to the WWF magazine by putting the little subscription card in an envelope with a bunch of rolled up pennies.

the envelope ripped up and my Mom got wise to it so it never made it to the mail box.

I NEVER DID!!!

Also when I was like 12 I had a paper route and saved up to get a yearly subscription to both Game Pro and Game Players magazines. I went to the bank and got the money orders but I didn't detach the receipt part and my magazines never showed up!!!

Somebody scammed 12 year old me out of like $60!!!!
